Nenner-when do we get a new update on the TR?

Thanks for getting on her about that! She brought the computer with her to work on it tonight. Funny, I've been bugging her to update it for a month and she doesn't listen to me.

We are going to the drive-in tonight to see Monsters Vs. Aliens and the new Night at the Museum. DH is putting our old futon mattress in the back of the truck along with sleeping bags for the kids and pillows from the couch. I went to the store and stocked up on junk food and now I just have to throw some beer and juice boxes in the cooler and we are ready for white trash Friday night.

Sounds like my family's Friday nights when I was a kid. My dad would fill the cooler with beer and check brand (Winn Dixie's store brand) sodas. My mom would pop a bunch of popcorn to bring along. Kids under 8 were free so my dad would always tell me to tell the lady I was 7 even though I was 9 or 10. Usually the movies weren't as good as the ones your seeing tonight. I remember seeing a lot of bad Revenge of the Nerds or Police Academy movies. But it was still fun.

I am still up to my ears in boxes BUT i am totally dowen with the OLD HOUSE!!

About 3-4 months ago i got a bad hair cut......WEll thank fully it has grown out enough that to day i was able to do a trim int he back.... I know it doesnt sound like much but one bad hair cut can make for months of heartache

We leave in 6 days for our TOUR OF THE RESORTS!!!!! getting excited!!!


It has been so rainyhere have not gotten in my pool in weeks.....uggh!!!!

Aaahhhhhhhhhhh.................pperfectmom that sure do bring back a flood of memories! Haven't been to a drive-in in ages. DW and I use to go to one when we were dating....................(I can just barely remember back that long ago). Any who...........it had the best bar-b-que sandwiches in the world. And, their fries were to die for, but alas it closed and has been torn down now.

Hey Dizzi it's stop raining here in our little neck of FL. Planning on getting in the pool this week-end. First off I have to go out and trim the hedges and mow the lawn, but after that it's splash city for me!!!!! Granddaughter Emily is here visiting with us as usual this week-end. That was the first thing she asked when I picked her up Friday. Papa can we get in the pool this week-end? And, of course I said Yes!!!!

we also enjoy going to the drive in alot! we try to go at least once every summer! Monsters Vs. Aliens is really good!! have not seen Night at the museum yet, but we want to!

yikes $30?? wow i just went to the craft store and bought a foam treasure chest and hung that up for my FE on our last cruise..it worked great and it only cost about $10 i think?

I want to have the characters sign peieces of fabric and put pictures on a quilt for the kids to have a memory quilt of the cruise insted of autograph books.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What do you think about that idea??!!!!!!!!

nice idea!!!
but since you already have all the autographs from previous trips, why don't you print those on fabric transfers and iron it on the quilt fabric? If you ask them to sign a peice of fabric it might not turn out because the ink will bleed and will smear. Get really good quality fabric transfer and just iron it on!!

Yeah I took the laptop with the battery that doesn't charge and forgot the cord!
I'm sorry I know I'm in dire need of an update, I've been so busy with the party and now I have one week to get Savannah's costumes alterated for her dance pictures... ugh. I will try again at getting some of it done at work next week!

We have cruised with Tiffany (gradysmommy) twice before. She is a great gal, and yes her work is awesome. Here is a pic of our FE, the bottom fabric part was made for us by another diser (she doesn't sell) but Tiffany made the awesome patches for us to iron onto the base we already had to personalize ours:

Kristin, that's a great idea!!!!
You can use the fabric markers so they don't run. There are places that will print pictures directly on fabric. I think for quilts, the less you use transfers the nicer it will be........unless you plan on hanging up the quilt, and not using it. I still think having the pictures printed directly on the fabric will be much nicer.

Has anyone heard any info, rumors, on the itineraries for the new ships? I hope they are planning some 10 day or even longer itineraries. If anyone has heard anything please let me know.

DW, DGD and I have been looking at the DisneyCruise Line website making some plans for things we want to do and see on this cruise. We got to talking about the two new Disney ships being built. Has anyone heard any info, rumors, on the itineraries for the new ships? I hope they are planning some 10 day or even longer itineraries. If anyone has heard anything please let me know.

The only thing I know for sure is that they announced at one point recently that the Wonder is going to the west coast, presumably to focus on land/sea at Disneyland and Mexican Riviera itineraries.

Some of the more popular speculation out there seems to be that one of the new ships will take over the Wonder's current Bahamas route and that either the other new ship or the Magic will continue the Caribbean runs. There hasn't been much else said about the other possibilites of whatever destinations the third ship (be it the Magic or the other new ship) could go to, aside from southern carribbean (there was a 10 day southern a few years back) or going north to Bermuda. Of course the third ship would also be more open for specialty cruises, like the European and Panama, etc.

That's pretty much all the scuttlebutt I've heard on the new ships!
