First off I just want to say what great pictures Nenner1 and pperfectmom posted. Thanks for sharing those with us. Looks like both of you had a great time.
Has everybody got back in the ol' work grove? Got your game face on? Nose to the grindstone? Ok........ok..........sorry, enough of that!!! I have to keep reminding myself..........."I love love my job".............."I love my job." What I love is the paycheck, which allows me to be able to go on the Disney Cruises!!! I just wanted to say that we will also be sailing with you: We have just put down our deposit for a stateroom on the 2010/10/16 Western cruise!

This is not only our first Western Caribbean cruise,
and not only our first Disney cruise,
but it is our FIRST EVER CRUISE!

There are still loads of things we need to read up on, being such newbies as we are - including this thread; but first of all, here is some information on us for the roll call:

DH and I have just been to WDW for the first time (it was our honeymoon), fell in love with it and decided to come back in fall of '10, but to combine that with a cruise - I've always wanted to try one! We don't have any kids but I have read that a Disney cruise is a great thing also for couples without kids, and we will be staying in a Cat 6 stateroom.

Now back to planning and reading - I'm sooo excited!

1st things first!!!!!

We sailed with another couple on our first cruise that did not have children and they loved it and i know have gone again since then!

ENJOY!!!

Cruising vacation is very different than your normal WDW vacation...

My first experience thoughts....
My first night i got soooo sick and so did DD that we could not even sit at the dinner table we left and went to the room, got tucked in bed and ordered chicken noodle soup from room service.

I threw mine up........
I was sick for another 12 hours or so until the meds kicked in good (TAKE THE MEDS before you get on the ship)

I was soooo concerned that i was gonna be sick for 7 days and couldnt wait to get off the ship.

We were in a cat 6 verandah and as we pulled in to the first port and for the first time i saw mountains coming up out of the ocean i went out on my verandah and cried at the beauty!!!! ( i am crying now)

The beauty was overwhelming to me, and i knew why i would cruise again at that moment

Oh my.....

I get so confused with time zones,

My Dh is traveling all the time with work and i can never keep them straight.

Let go with which ever one is in FLORIDA!!!!

Or we could change it up weekly so that everyone can have a say at what is good for them.
