We went to the DISNEY OUTLET this morning.

I didnt buy much....

I was really looking for stuff to put in the box to mail to my Inlaws for the upcoming trip.

Which yes i have to mail over night or it wont get there in time.

I got some stickers, i got my nephew a Mickey football i got my niece a Tink set of markers, i got her some hairclips.

I GOT ME....... A set of 4 PINS which are the ones from the MEXICAN RIVIERA Cruise we took. :cool1: :cool1: it was more than 1/2 price off.

I also got me a Hat that is a Pirtae hat but it has the design of a looklike ED HARDY..........Love that stuff.

I got a Minnie Mouse Cheer Leader Christmas Ornament......My Dd always has a ornament trade with her cheer squad.

I almost bought a CASTAWAY CAY hat.......IT was a Big floopy type and just didnt liek the look of it.

Oh yeah and a lime green mickey head bracelet!! I guess i just purchsed my first thing for the cruise.

I had about 15 KEYCHAINS in my hand and put them back........wsnt sure about them for FE GIfts they were on sale for .49 and they had Mickey on them and them but he was hoilding a LARGE LETTER X.......My Dh said write a note and put with them that theyw ere for the FISH XTENDERs OR XX AND OOO but i thought it a bit cheesy so i didnt do it. Proud G-ma here
This is a picture of DGD with one of Shirley's baskets taken in May on the Mariner of the Seas. I ordered 2 baskets though Shirley and think she did a nice job for a reasonable price.

we cruised last month for the first time and I have to tell you that I had doubts that my boys would like the clubs. I knew my yougest wouldn't mind since he's very outgoing, but I wondered about our oldest who is a bit shy.
They both LOVED it there and would beg to go first thing in the morning ! When we went to go pick them up at night they would cry!!! LOL
so we had no problems at all and they really keep the kids busy in there with many activities!

Mouse Madness......
How old are your kids???????

Well, Kyle is 5 and Rebecca is 2. We planned the cruise specifically for 2010 so that Rebecca will be potty trained and they can both be in the same club together (4 and 7). We felt they might not be as nervous if they weren't separated. Well, I should say, so Rebecca won't be as nervous...Kyle is perfectly fine on his own...however she's completely attached to him

Angie's son Geoffrey will be 8 at time of sailing, so we also wanted the boys to be in the same club together :)

By the way, that reminds me...because Geoffrey's going to be 8, can he have access to both clubs, or does he need to be signed up for one specifically? I think Angie was going to try him in the younger club first, then move him up if he gets too bored. Will that be possible :confused3

Hey DizzylandDeb,

Just noticed that you have Nenner1 listed as Neener1 in post 2. :confused3 When you get a chance could you fix it? :) Thanks! :thumbsup2

Nenner, Neener.....no matter....I answer to just about anything!:rotfl:

Mouse Madness, you were asking about the clubs. An 8 year old technically does not have access to both clubs, by age they are designated to be in the Oceaneers Lab group. You don't get to choose it is solely by age and they are pretty strict on it....

However....

occasionally if requested by the parents for one reason or another they can move down (into the younger) club, but I would take him to the open house there on the first night and let him see the activities there, especially as a boy.... some of the things they do in the Oceaneers Club (ages 3-4 and 5-7) may be too young for him. Often times both age groups mingle together for free time, so he would be playing with(or around) 3 & 4 year olds.

Anyway though, it can be done...in fact IIRC this summer there was a lot of discussion about moving kids from the Ocean Quest group (11-13) down to the lab b/c nobody likes the fact that the kids at that age check themselves in & out with no parental notification...so they are flexible about considering moves down an age group...they are pretty stringent about not allowing a move UP an age group unless the child is within one month of their birthday. Hope that helps you!:thumbsup2

Happy Veteran's Day, everyone!

Happy Veteran's Day, everyone!

Thanks Jen for your info. All 3 kids have end of summer birthdays, so they will be young 4, 7, and 8 year olds. However, Geoffrey is a brilliant little guy, so he'll probably do better in the older group. It is nice to know, though, that he can possibly move down if he wants to spend more time with Kyle and Rebecca :grouphug: We moved away a year ago (work relocation) so the kids don't get to see each other as much :sad1: We'll have to see how it goes...

Thanks Monica for asking the club question. I hadn't got around to calling yet so you saved me a call. I have a feeling Geoffrey will want to spend as much time with Kyle and Rebecca as he can.
