I know some of you all have done an Eastern Caribbean cruise... Anyone have any good ideas for what to do in St Martin? We thought we had a good idea but found out that the excursion we were looking at wasn't recommended for 19 month olds....

We did the Butterfly farm which we all loved! It was a nice break from all the tourist packed spots LOL
It took about an hour to walk around the place but it could easily be done quicker if need be!!!
We also went to the St. Marteen Park Zoo, small place, but fun for the kids to look through.

Since a poll can be removed why not make the first round a poll and then if people feel strongly about keeping the votes private do the top three as a private vote.

I willtry to do apoll right now but there are almost 30 options dont know if there is a limit but i will doit now and see

We actually have 25 idea in the first page and you can only have 12 spots for the poll.

But so far:

The poll will be opened for 2 weeks.
We will vote agian on the TOP 3. opened for 2 weeks.

SO that sorry ....is in 4 weeks we will know the OFFICIAL lanyard name of our cruise!!!!

If someone who made a name would like to post to remove a name so we can fit 12 in the poll please do so!!! I will be removing most of mine.

When w went to st martin we were new to island hopping and just took a bus tour it was air conditioned and nice but wont be doing any more bus tours.
Then just shopped in town.

THEY HAVE THE BEST BEST BEST ALCHOHOL there....OMG!!!!!!
I somuch wish we had gotten as much of it as we could carry on the boat.

GUAVABERRY ....... I gotit in a glass painted bottle and savored EVERY DROp of that stuff,i also got miniatures as gifts and then didint give them out cause i wanted them.

YUMMMMMMMY!!!!!

We have been to St. Marteen twice and both times we went to a great beach called Little Divi Bay Beach.....Candy, Randy and Amber and Family came with us last time....It is great and not crowded at all....Then we went shopping....FUN DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only option i wilhave is to join like suggestions to gether and then seperate them in 2 weeks time then we might have to have 3 votes.
Which IMO is too much.

But what ever the majority wantsisfine with me i have at least a year untili will start my crafty stuff.

Last time i was there they had 2008 Cruiseline stuff on 50% off clearance..

I got a SCRAPBOOK with Disney 2008 Cruise on it for $7 for any of you who sailed in 2008.

They had other things too.

They also had CASTAWAY CAY TSHIRTS..

I have to drop my kids off at WAnnado city and will check my email when i get there.......

It will be around 1pm.

So if you want soemthing pleaselet meknow before then.

Is there good snorkeling there? Clothing optional? We're not prudes, but we would not want everyone showing off their junk in front of the kiddos.

And what kind of shopping do people do there? We plan to buy as much liquor as we're allowed since the prices are good. Otherwise I'm not too into the shopping thing. But what is it that they have to offer at good prices???

I don't think anyone ever suggested "bring the magic back." I think that was a mistake in a posting by Jen when trying to recall the magic back in the Caribbean suggestion. I think you can take that one out to get down to the 12. Unless anyone likes that one... Anyone???

Guavaberry emporium is really good!!!!!!!!! free samples too LOL
we bought a bottle of rum when we were there and hubby bought beer!

also if you love chocolate like I do, there is a place called the Belgiam Chocolate box (again, free samples here too)
