Is there good snorkeling there? Clothing optional? We're not prudes, but we would not want everyone showing off their junk in front of the kiddos.

And what kind of shopping do people do there? We plan to buy as much liquor as we're allowed since the prices are good. Otherwise I'm not too into the shopping thing. But what is it that they have to offer at good prices???

Thanks,
Ron

Ron,

At Little Divi Bay Beach everyone had clothing on. On that side of the island I believe they all wear clothing on the French side they don't but on the Dutch side they do........You would love that Beach no big waves, the kids can play and run and not crowded at all.....The first time there my husband did snorkel and it was good.....But he did have to walk to the end of the beach (which is not very big at all) to get the best snorkeling......Great, family beach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My kids still talk about it they love it there. Kelly Ripa talked about going there once on Regis and Kelly Show!!

Ooh I'll have to check out the pics Nancy! :thumbsup2

I don't think anyone ever suggested "bring the magic back.":confused3 I think that was a mistake in a posting by Jen when trying to recall the magic back in the Caribbean suggestion.:) I think you can take that one out to get down to the 12. Unless anyone likes that one... Anyone???:confused3
Oh yeah my bad. Ron pointed out my misquote to me back when I made it and I forgot to correct it- sorry!

Guavaberry emporium sounds cool.:thumbsup2

Thanks!!! yes we ended up in Nassau instead of St. Thomas because of Omar!!! The storm started as we were leaving St. Maarten and totally missed us, but we were really flying out of there though LOL by the time we got to Nassau the sky was bright blue and very hot!!!
hope to try again for another Eastern soon

Hi everyone,

Oh wow..that stinks that you had to miss St. Thomas but it is way better than being in a nasty storm! And nothing wrong with going back for a do-over. We liked our Western so much last year we are going again! :goodvibes

I can't get over how quiet the Atlantic has been this year-no storms! knock on wood! (not trying to jinx ya Kristin!) :rotfl2:

Welcome back stranger! :)

When we were on the Eastern we missed CC because of NOEL, and so we have been on Disney Cruise 2 times and still no CC.

But i did manage to 3 CC shirts at the Disney Outlet earlier.
1 for me 2 for DD bouth them big to make Bathing suit cover.

SO HOPEFULLY we make it this time around!!!

Thanks Lynn for doing the poll.

Lots of suggestions and kind of confusing with the double entries. Although I do confuse easy...:confused3:confused3:confused3

Chances are that no one will vote on the Disney quotes so you could take those out. I think most of those were mine anyway and I prefer my other more generic Magic cruising references.

Plus, there are a lot of other great suggestions.

It seems it may come down to whether we want a reference to the Magic's return from Europe or a more generic Magic reference that could be used again.

Just a few thoughts, and again thanks for doing the poll...

Randy

Well with pen in hand...........I mean with mouse in hand I cast my vote.:thumbsup2:cool1: It is official now. After this is finished we vote for the top 3, is that correct?? Come on everyone cast your vote.:thumbsup2
I do have a question for anyone out there who might have gone thru this before. In our past sailings with Disney, we always took whatever dining rotation was given us when we checked in. This cruise DW:love: and DGDprincess: have decided on a certain dining rotation they want. How much trouble is it to get your dining rotation changed? I have read on some other reports you go to the Rock'n D Bar to change dining rotations, is that correct? Have you always got the rotation you wanted when wanting to change? Any help would be greatly appreciated.:worship:
Hope everyone has a great evening.:cool1:

Captain Thore,, did a Great job of getting us around Hurricane Omar................I have been tracking the National Hurricane Center to see if there are any storms out there before we go......................................................We LOVE ST.THOMAS,, one of our close friends lives there we honeymooned there and went back for our FIVE year Anniversary and are hoping to make it there again with the friends we me on our honeymoon and who we went back to celebrate our five year anniversary with we also renewed our wedding vows that time too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems it may come down to whether we want a reference to the Magic's return from Europe or a more generic Magic reference that could be used again.

Actually "bring Back the Magic" was never intended to be such a literal reference. Referring to the "bringing it back" part was secondary to the meaning of the song, which refers to the phrase 'bring back the magic' as in to bring back the magic into your life. That's what the song is about.

You know..bringing the Disney Magic back into our lives. I think that part of the translation got lost along the way. :goodvibes

FWIW (lol I cast my vote already) I personally don't want anything generic or that can be reused. This is OUR (meaning us..our thread- all of us) cruise and I want something that will reference and reinforce it. Future cruises will have future lanyards that will say other things and dates. I think the name should be unique and special to all of us, not generic and re-useable..but that's my $0.05 (<--LOL I have said more htan my $0.02 on this topic I know)

Glad to see you are joining us Peggy..are you going on the cruise next week too?

Everyone---have a wonderful night...I will be working as ya'll sleep!

Wow I missed a lot not being on today. I decided to read all the names to my son and let him pick.

? Is the poll set up so we can vote once a day? or what?
