Oct. 15, 2006 (4 nights on the "New" Wonder)

Scarf

I bet you can get cotton mittens somewhere :)

Jules what did you think of the rasual? Is it worth the money? It sounds like fun and a romantic thing for our honeymoon. I'd like to try the rainforest as well.

I think on the Wonder one of the nights (not sure which one) is considered a "dress up" night but there is no formal night :confused3 Jacob was relieved of this :p

Edited to add:
check it out - Cotton Mittens :rotfl:

warm

Thanks for finding the mittens Kelly Ian will be very pleased with that :thumbsup2

The Rasual is fabulous, we though it well worth the money, as I am sure you have seen there are lots of threads on the DIS about it. The products that they leave for you to use are wonderful, I think that you would both enjoy it. We really enjoyed the rainforest as well, it is nice to be able to use it when you like, rather than having to make appointments, the only drawback we found is that there is so much going on that we didn't really spend enough time there, the smell when you walk into the spa, or even outside it is amazing.

We are both so relieved that there is not a "formal night" :wave2:

* sunshine* :sunny: Waynes input, seeing Ians now playing! :cool1:

Kelly how fab, with the picture of cotton mittens!!!! Elouise had them to stop her scrathing her face, when a baby!

I think "dress up" night is on Monday night. Its not like formal, but just smart ish..... Im really looking forward to the Show at AP. As for the food, I definately wont starve, and at least I might try things I wouldnt usually ( you never know I may like them) I do this at an all inclusive hotel, and I have discovered things I like that I would never order off a menu in a restuarant!

Heres my "kind of schedule" for the cruise.
What do you think? too much?? so many things, and soooo little time!

Sun Get to port early, find my table mates at some point, go on with swim suit and get to Mickey pool for 1pm. Get buffet and decorate ours and Kelly and Jakes door. Book Wendy Darling tea, and wine tasting. Drill, then sail away party.
Try Elouie out in club.

Mon Nassau, go to Del sol shop for pressies, have a look around port, back to pool. See Hercules, and go to 80s disco.

Tue CC day! beach stuff and loads of photos. Snow white in club at 7.15. Golden Mickeys. Pirate night! Dress up and PARTY!

Up at 6am, cry, cry at breakfast, cry saying goodbye  to table mates/ servers, cry getting off ship ...... :guilty:

Orlando

Linda your plans sound great, very exciting ... :thumbsup2

We haven't really made a plan,we know we want to relax a lot, swim, at Nassau we are hoping to go to Atlantis and the Hard Rock. Castaway we will just relax all day at Serinity Bay and take lots of piccies, we will hire floats and look at the fishies. Wednesday we hope to be able to book brunch, do the wine tasting and hopefully fit spa treatment in, I want to get the hot stone massage and also do the rasual again, so will fit these in when we can. Of course we also have the Pirates Party to look forward to.. We also love having a martini in the cadillac lounge, it is very quite in there and very relaxed. I always cry when I get off, am I sad or what ?? :confused3

Dawn

Linda, I was checking out the menu samples and I could not decide between the Cannelloni and the Filet Mgnon from AP-Maybe both. But the PB Pie ABSOLUTELY, MMMMMMMMM

Poor Alie, Her mommy thinks she should try to wear one of the 2 or 3 beautiful (expensive) princess formals that she already has and has only worn once (hense are "old") oh and BTW she said when she bought them that she could wear them on the cruise, instead of buying new ones.

I am trying not to overplan and just relax and enjoy, but I do have some guidlines I want to follow.

Sun Yes, arrive early, check out the ship and see about Palo Brunch and wine tasting. Awsome dinner with new friends and 70's Disco. (More partial to 70's than 80's but may check out both)

Mon Nassau, see Atlantis and tour The Digs, walk thru Shop and Pirate Musseum. Eat Conch Salad. Back to ship for evening festivities.

Tue Kyack tour of CC, Hang out at Serenity Bay. Pirate dinner and PARTY.

Wed SEA Day ENJOY THE SHIP, Palo and Wine if I gat Resies.

Thurs

Sunset

Sounds like wonderful plans Jane, we will be able to wave at each other from our hammocks on Serenity Bay

*orange*

Hammocks, now that sounds lovely.................. bet they dont have them on the family beach? Any way with Elouise I will be up and down! :rotfl2:

Wonder where the rest of our cruise buddies are??

Any way we are doing a grand job keeping the thread to the top, so anyone old" or "new" could find us.

Ali, what ever dress you wear, I bet you will look fabulous! :cheer2:

maramalade

 Hi everyone, now don;t be scared but I thought it was about time I gave you some piccies (you may want to sit down), I am going to do one first to see if it works, please forgice me if I have done it wrong, and then I will post a few more !!

100_9332.jpg

oh its a bit big and I wanted to do it as a link (in case you didn't want to look), I will try again - any advice ??

well I guess I am not too good at this, I have posted the same piccie twice !! and they are all now a bit small, I'm not much good at technolody, I hope you are all having a great weekend .....

Jules I LOVE the big picture, its great to actually SEE you.

I use photo bucket, but cant remember how to get the pictures bigger. I reckon just send them BIG !!!! :)

Just having a break from cleaning my house and baking cheese cake for tonights dinner party!

On a very very sad note, Jules have you ever tried Flash mark & stain eraser? Its like a white hard block that goes softer when wet. someone at work said it was fab on cleaning white PVC window sills etc. Well, its amazing!!! Ive had such fun cleaning my window surrounds, sills and even front door are gleeming! I know im sad! nails are knackered though, still off to get them fixed soon!

Thanks Linda, it is very big !! But I thought I had better share the piccies, as I have seen all of you and you may have thought that there is something wrong with us :rotfl: I will work on the sizing etc ....

At least now I can share bits of our life with you, even if they are a bit big or small :rotfl2:

I have never heard of that product Linda, Ian brings stuff home from work to clean ours and it stinks to high heaven, so I will have to give this a go ... I am gald that you now have sparkly white bits and am sure that you will get your nails sorted soon ....

Have a fab dinner party tonight, have you many people coming around, are you still doing the grand marnier thing, or have you replaced with cheesecake ?

Have a lovely time, dont drink too much :drinking1, we are going to have a bbq, so I am sure I will have a little too much vino, we are also going to crack open a bottle of fairy cuvee as we bought it in Orlando for our anniversary and didn't drink it on Tuesday as we both had work on Wednesday...

Have fun :cool1:

*Jelly*
Thanks for the photos Jules. :thumbsup2
About the size problem. Are you sure you are placeing the actual photo in photobucket and not just a thumbnail? Not that I know any better. Kelly is the technical one among us.
Sounds like you Europeans sure like to BBQ and PARTY.

I guess we Floridians do too. :rotfl: WE are going to my inlaws tonight for Duck Noodle Soup :cloud9: It is heavenly :cloud9:
And yes I imagine we will drink more than a little vino.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Oh I almost forgot

3 more months :hourglass

jam

Jane to be honest I dont know what I am doing I am so not technical I will have to wait for Kelly, I susupect what you think is the problem may be the case .... :confused3

We do like to party Jane, but we have come inside now to watch a little tv and chill out, what is it that you are going to eat duck soup. can you explain to me what it is like - sounds good :cool1:

Strawberry

Yay pictures! Thanks for sharing.

We just got back from picking up my wedding ring from the jeweler and getting Jacob sized for his again. I also ended up buying him a new watch!

About the picture sizes....

I think you got it figured out for the most part but here's my best try at explaining

The second smaller linked pictures you have posted, you have them linked to the thumbnail version at photobucket, which is fine, just small. At photobucket under each thumbnail size picture there are 3 boxes with text in them - Url, Tag, and Img

If you copy all the text that is just in the Url box and paste it right into here, it will automatically be made into a link once you preview your post or submit your post. If you copy the text that is in the Img box and paste it here then the picture will automatically show up right in the post (like the first big pic you posted).

Now the size of the pictures (besides the thumbnails) is simply how big the picture file is on your PC if you never resized it before uploading it to Photobucket. Photobucket creates the thumbnails just for previewing purposes.

And I totally forgot today means only 3 more months!!! :dogdance:

Linda your plan sounds good. We haven't really got our plan yet beyond the first 4 days at Disney. We've had that all planned out for a while. Starting the Sunday of the cruise the only plan we have so far is to do some laundry in the morning before we head off to port. We need to get some idea of what we plan for the cruise though so we know what day we want to try to book the spa treatment. Maybe we'll get a chance to talk about it all tonight.

And you said cheesecake!! YUM, my favorite.

*pips*

Hi everyone, Ive had a fa weekend, and todays my Birthday!
Sat night dinner went really well, I did breaded mushrooms with garlic dip, Chicken in a cream and mushroom sauce, with fresh veg and new potatos. Then for puddings, ( my favorite) I couldnt make up my mind, so I did a platter of mini puddings, chocolare eclairs, cheesecakes, chocoalte covered strawberries and pavalovas. Even though I say it my self I was very impressed. We had such a fab time, friends left at 4am! and I had to get up for work at 7am ! Work was pants, however that night, Wayne had seen a local fayrre on, with a big firework display in the evening so we went there. The weather was wonderful, Elouise was on all the rides, and we had a few drinks and chilled out, watching fire works at 11pm! They were lovely, obviously not like WDW, but set to uplifting music!

Today, Im at home till lunch time, the Elouise is on another school trip, to her class for the afternoon. Not sure what we are doing to night, Wayne might have booked up something. However on a mon night, I doubt it, and to be honest, an early night would be good. Now Im sounding REALLY old !! Oh well last year of being 30 something! :goodvibes

3 months, great!!! however I need 9 months to diet in!! :rotfl2:

have a great day everyone!

orange

Happy Birthday Linda I hope you have a great day :bday:

Thanks for the advice on the piccies Kelly I will get it sorted eventually !

Sounds like you had a great time on Saturday Linda, and the puddings sound fab, cant believe your guests left at 4 and you went to work at 7, you must have a lot of stamina. The fair sounds like fun, I love fireworks, and they are always wonderful when set to music ...

We had a quiet weekend, Ian worked Saturday morning and then we had a bbq Saturday night, he had a few hours work to do yesterday morning as well, so we just chilled in the garden when he came home, and then another bbq last night, it was nice and quiet, the friends who we normally meet up with on the weekend had a family wedding, so the bbq was quite quiet without them ...

3 months that is mad, I cant beleive how quickly it is going :cheer2:

JUICE

party: Happy Birthday Linda! party:

I wish I had your social life LOL I can't even remember the last time I was up until 4 am! And the food you served sounds delicious. I'm an awful cook.

Yesterday we got some cruise details taken care of. Booked our towncar transfers from airport -> Disney -> Port -> airport and we looked over the excursions and spa treatments on the ship and picked out our favorites. We aren't doing any in Nassau, just getting off the ship for a bit and checking out the Pirate Museum. We have too many picked for CC but we'll decide for sure soon. We might do one of the "package" excursions with the stingrays, float and bike rentals. Jules do you have any recommendations? Sort of planned out what days we would do spa treatments too. We have somewhat of an itinerary now. I also paid a big chunk of the cruise and now just need to wait for my check to come in to pay the rest of it off :woohoo:
