Oct. 11th, Mini Meet- Chicago style (pizza?)

After some DIScussion, I've decided to make this a PSA!!

There are SOME DISers who would like to Meet on Friday, before the official, Big Meet on Saturday. MOST likely for Pizza and, most likely at Gino's in Rosemont or Schaumburg (I believe).

Soo, for anyone seriously interested in this Pre-Meet party, sign in here!! I think helenabear and/or Dan need to know. (Gotta have ressies for a Friday, I'm sure!)

Me, me , me for three. We'll we have to figure out where to meet or give me directions or something.
Also, I'm not sure exactly when we'll get there, does anybody mind a late dinner?

Of course I'll be there I don't mind a later dinner. What time were you thinking Laurie? It won't matter to me too much as I'll just be relaxing by the pool that afternoon

Oh man this isn't fair!!! I had the most awesome pizza there, and some spinach cheese things...that were delicious. I want to go!!! Someone tell my DH I need to go have pizza in Chicago?? You guys have way better pizza than we do

Well, does anyone know how long it will take for me to drive there from here? I have no clue. I've been told about three hours or so.
I'm stopping at Claudia's and she's driving too with her clan.

How about around 8pm, or so?

I've been told 3-4 hours is about right. Can we make it a little earlier than 8 though... that will feel like 9 pm for me (I'm an hour ahead of you all )

Glo, I must agree, Chicago pizza is the best! I figured there was no way I could go there and not get some. Our pizza here is nothing compared to it there!

I don't mind if you all start eating before I get there.

Laurie, I would feel bad starting without you. If that's the time that works best for everyone then I iwill be okay with it and have a late lunch (maybe I'll wait to eat until I get to Chicago).

Seriously, I don't mind, it is late for dinner. Just save me a seat.

Actually Glo, they do deliver frozen pizzas across the country. It's a bit expensive but it sure looks good Gino's East

Well, let's see what others think of the time for dinner. It might work best for others too

I do believe that 99 and I have fit this into our busy calendar! Haven't had Gino's East in quite a while (a few months!), so I am looking forward to eating there and spending extra time with DIS friends.
