Obsessed!!!!

My husband is driving me crazy!!! ok so maybe I'm the crazy one...I always have to be planning a trip...We are leaving in 14 days for our next DVC adventure 9 nights at BCV can't wait!!! anyway with that trip upon us I am getting antsy and so I must begin planning for our next trip home....I had been talking about a big family trip when my nephew is a little older (my brother says when he's 5...I'm not waiting that long so I'm planning on when he's 3...he's now 5 months LOL) anyway...my husband got upset with me just as I was about to book our trip for next May...he said aren't we saving the points..I just can't do it!!! So to explain it better (sorry for the rant) we would be borrowing 2013 points to do a trip in May 2013 since we have a July use year...and he wants to save up the points...I think that the family trip would be February or May 2015 because of our use year 2013 banked points and 2014 points then borrow 2015 points for the trip....we have 3 100 point contracts and doing this trip still leaves us 110 points from 2013 plus 600 from 2014/15 more than enough for the family trip!!!! Oh heck I'm booking!!!

I am obsessed as well - I am currently planning 3 trips to WDW (Oct, Oct, Dec) and waiting to hear on ROFR on a new BC contract so I can start planning our May 2013 trip.

It's soo much fun to plan, though!!

Hasn't your husband had the indoctrination class? The way DVC works is you borrow, borrow, borrow, buy. There is no vaccine for addonitis. Tell him just to give in to the forgone conclusion that you'll have an add-on contract by 2015.

That is so true!! I have also infected my sister and BIL/SIL as they have bought DVC contracts and want to add on too.

BTW - I have 3 kids ages 8, 4.5 and 2.5 and a full time job (CPA). I just enjoy the planning, the points, waitlisting etc...

Am I obsessed too? Last night my wife and I were explaining why we are headed back next month after being down there last month to our younger son. I could justify the trip in my mind due to the lower electrical bill here in Chicago while using the air conditioning at our Disney "Second Home". I think I have a problem.
