I was surprised by that too. However He kept jumping out at Obi, surprise birthday party style, from every nook and cranny of those grain piles/dunes.
I loved hearing James Earl Jones again! This is also interesting that this moment is Obi's first time seeing Anakin since the flaming cheetos world of Mustafar.
I really liked it overall, probably the best episode yet. Ok one thing:
Obi Wan's flaming getaway scene was a bit clunky to me. Visually, not to mention it seemed too easy a getaway.
And finally, I know this is a TV series, but since we're returning to the main canon characters, I would have thrown in the classic Star Wars screen wipe transitions, and probably more steadicam than shaky cam. If there were screen wipes used, maybe I just didn't notice them?
I just learned that Zach Braff voiced Freck the alien, never would have guessed.
Sad to discover that Moses Ingram, Reva, received many racist comments on her social media for appearing in Obi Wan. You would think that in a universe of diverse beings of all shapes and sizes, skin color wouldn't be an issue.
