Obi Wan Predictions

I agree. Her character is such a villain. She plays the role really well.
Her backstory I think will get revealed as we go forward.... I still think she was a Jedi youngling, maybe one of the younglings shown in the beginning.

It is important that she knows the identity of Darth Vader was Anakin, that was not widely known.

Her anger at seeing the Jedi symbol in episode 3.... her anger at Obi Wan... this is personal for her beyond just being a Vader groupee

Last episode was IMO better than the previous one. Obi Wan is starting to get back in the swing of being a Jedi. The episodes feel too short. I was really expecting a duel near the end, but the series seems to be teasing us.

I totally agree I need longer episodes since there are only 6 of them. I am loving this series. Leia is cast too young but how she ends up growing up semi normal is crazy. She has some serious childhood aces (adverse childhood experiences - I am a high school teacher).

People keep saying that Leia seems too young, but Vivian Lyra Blair is 10 years old, the same age that Leia is in the show. I think she's great personally!

I forgot to bring up the episode from last Wednesday.

I really liked how the events paralleled Obi's/Anakin's personalities during their sparring flashback.

Had to rewind when:
Vader pulled down that starship and ripped it open like a back of chips!

Oh man, and that duel with Reva! "I'm not even going to get out my lightsaber, kid." Absolutely dismissive and dominating.

Whoop!!! Episode 6 tonight!!! Hope it is a long one... not going to even LOOK at anything Star Wars until I watch it tonight!!

Dont count my Grrrl Reva out just yet....

Well, don't get too excited, it's normal length. There were rumors that it was significantly longer, but it's not.

I am really loving this series. It is so well done and I can't believe tonight is the finale. How long will I need to wait until season 2.

I don't believe there is any intent to make a season 2, but you never know. I guess if this gets good viewership it could, but I think the plan is to move on to other Star Wars shows.

I have watched it. It's a bit uneven for a finale, but the good parts are very, very, very good indeed!

Was up before 5AM, insomnia, so watched it bright and early. LOVED it. Not perfect by any means, but so very emotional to me. Cried a few times....haven't cried like that on a SW series since Rebels. Very satisfying, and clever enough the way they worked in a few more items to tie in w canon.
I didn't read any spoilers/predictions, etc, and didn't go into it with too many theories/or expectations. That helps a lot.

I loved both episodes. I am a casual star wars fan so I do not know who everyone is but I love these shows. I like Leia but I think they should have used a girl who looks older. We were saying that she looks like a 6 year old not 10, but other than that both episodes were awesome to me.
LOL yes, when she said she was 10 I was like, "Are you sure?". She looks 8 tops. The actress just turned 10 earlier this month, so she was at least a bit younger when filming but also just looks younger than she is.

I got my fingers crossed for a season 2....
This finale was great fun, very much enjoyed this whole series. Loved all the new characters, Lil' Leia was so sweet, her casting was spot on, and Ewan sigh.... he was so good as Obi Wan in recovery and loved loved Darth Vader... as always, he is the best Sith lord.

Not what everyone is discussing but still on topic. A small take-out place.

I attended the initial showing of "The Art of Star Wars" in San Francisco back in 1994. There were long lines to see things including many of the matte paintings, costumes, and models actually used in the Star Wars movies. Also one of the original Yoda puppets that was operated by Frank Oz.

But they did have Star Wars themed items in the cafe, including Wookie cookies and Obi-Wan cannoli.

I can only hope for a second season. I loved this but it seemed so short. Because I grew up with in the 70's and 80's I love this look at how Leia and Luke grew up. I can't wait to see what comes next. I would love to see a show about Reva and what happens with her storyline. My son is convinced that she will have a series as well.
