Guys, word of advice...stay off that thread. It just isn't worth the effort. They posted that article (about Obama refusing to ostensibly pay bribes to local politicos) as if it were a negative thing about Obama. They give him a hard time for claiming not to be "just another politician" and wanting to change the way things work...then give him a hard time for not acting like every other politician. It feels too much like arguing with Bush supporters for my comfort.

S'ok...I made the mistake of posting there earlier, but I won't go back.

I don't even open it, unless people here reference something that is going on there. I do have to laugh at the post today that this thread is filled with misogyny though. Hilarious! Cannot they not grasp that we don't like Hillary because she is a liar? She is a LIAR! She makes up stories, she doesn't come clean on income sources, she has proven over and over that she is not trustworthy. It has nothing to do with her gender. And Bill is a liar too. To say they are getting unfair media coverage is BS. The Clintons are simply giving the media more dirt to dig than either Obama or McCain. The MSM will jump on any whiff of a scandal, they could care less who the candidate is.

Good lord, HRC's ridiculousness cannot get worse. Her comment that Pennsylvanians don't need someone to look down on them--for heavens' sake, woman, find real issues to discuss. Obama is not being elitist. And if she and Bill continue to harp on this, then Obama should fire back with her on her Bosnia lies (oh excuse me, those 11 pm mis-statements), major conflict of interest with donations, and her over privileged sense of entitlement that I'm sure comes from having a multi-million dollar net worth.

My post was about Carter not Obamas new blunder.....

Not to mention how many other times you may have used my posts from threads to other threads and how you may have added things into them that I did not write to prove a point.

I found it rude that he took a quote from the Hillary thread that I had made and copied it and moved it over to another thread....what bothers me is that he could have added anything to the post that he wanted and If i had not gone there and seen it i would not have known.

Are you telling me that you dont mind if I use any of your posts and post them where I feel it will suit my pourpose...even if it does not tell the whole story and you will never know about it....how about if you said something about Obama and I took it and brought it over to another thread and used it...

If someone has something to say about another posters post than post it in that thread.

2 - It is not "rude" to use someone else's post to prove a point. Feel free to use anything I post in any way that you wish, so long as you quote me accurately and in context, which I did when I borrowed your post.

3 - You made it quite clear that you didn't want us posting on the Hillary thread. Frankly, I find it a bit disingenuous that you suddenly want me to respond there.

4 - It is a function of the board to quote from another thread. I didn't "cut and paste" anything, I simply utilized the "multiple quote" function that is a part of normal functionality. Just like the spellcheck function, it's something that a lot of people use on a regular basis.

I can guarantee you I have been quoted, misquoted all over this board and other boards and pulled over from this board.... I once found a quote that I posted here on the DIS on another Liberal website in a news article in regards to what was then the Duke Rape Case, I kid you not, it was a direct quote by me here on a thread referencing the case.... I was pretty amused at that one..... People take WHATEVER you say and use it in whatever way they deem appropriate.
