The polls don't matter anymore now that they're favoring Obama over Clinton... absolutely hillarious. :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

The Cons were gleeful when McCain opened up a 10 point lead after pastor-gate and that is either erased to an Obama lead or McCain is up by 1-2 points, but the Cons won't be quoting those for long I guess. :rotfl2:

I was reading the Burnt Orange Report and there are reports of chaos at the county convention sites. At the one in Austin, delegates got tired of waiting in traffic so they have been parking on the shoulder and walking (according to the AP).

OMG, WHERE'D YOU READ THAT?

DisneyJosh, where'd you read or hear that?

We have 3 counties reporting now:

So far, the only counties that have reported are San Augustine, Moore, and Edwards -- with a whopping 4-4 split of Obama and Clinton delegates. They are still signing in delegates in Harris and Travis County, I've been told.

Of those 3 counties, Obama has 25 county delegates and Clinton 23.

ETA: Those were 3 very pro-Clinton counties in the primary:

San Augustine: 53%-35% for Clinton
Moore: 64-33 for Clinton
Edwards: 55-41 for Clinton

Since we got a national delegate split out of those 3 that were heavily for Clinton on March 4th, we will have a very good day I think.

Interesting, thanks... looks like a long day for those folks....

Clinton swept all 51 county delegates in Webb County - that hurts but given she won 75% of the vote, the caucus held with the primary. :headache:

All of them, huh? Things that make you go hmmmmm. :scratchin

The Field is reporting dirty tactics at San Antonio - apparently there were backroom deals before the conventions started. :rolleyes1

Can you believe the things not even completed and in yet?? I guess that number of people, it's not so surprising, but that is one long day for them.....

Interesting about San Antonio, wonder what the deal is with that?

I hope you don't mind me posting this NewJersey.

As of about 30 minutes ago, with 74 counties reporting:

Clinton Delegates 1080 45.17%
Obama Delegates 1311 54.83%

http://www.burntorangereport.com/

That looks to be about with 26% of the count tallied... I wonder if they had different times for different precincts? That would explain why the one Precinct Captain I emailed told me that she had two problems, first problem was that people had been told the wrong date, but the second was they had the wrong time....

Looks like we won more delegates!

With 74% of the total delegates reported or 133 conventions:

Obama 3,107 56%
Clinton 2,436 44%
:woohoo:

Texas!
Clinton 2,804....... 44.05%
Obama 3,561....... 55.95%

83.03% of the conventions in!

We went to the San Jose Convention Center early this morning to wave Obama signs at Bill as he entered the California Democratic Convention. :teeth: Tons of Obama supporters there, but you can't get inside. The organizers said that Nancy Pelosi was there last night, along with some other Dem big wigs, and commented to the crowd that as soon as all the states have voted, we will have a nominee. The Supers will start declaring, and it will drive the forerunner to 2024. :teacher:
