He sounds like he was body snatched. He's such a different candidate than he was 8yrs ago (not better)

In 2000, he was the straight talker and I was really impressed with him. In 2008, he's GW McCain.

If you want more of the same, vote for him.

Yes that's my point. 2000 McCain and 2008 McCain are 2 entirely different people. I know a lot of people who voted for him hoping he's the same guy.

He's aligned himself with the current administration in many ways and is trying to pander to the right on many ways. He used to be a different politician than he is now, he has sold his soul to get this nomination.

Can I just say I'm glad to have the ignore feature? It's really quite useful this morning....

Anyhow, Hillary had a net gain of delegates between 3 and 10 yesterday, I think it's not time to wipe Obama out as some would love to do, and some have been doing right along.

People vote for personal reasons, I have a friend also that voted for Hillary because she's a woman, she has no idea of any issues. I have a neighbor who voted for Hillary because she didn't want to vote for a Muslim, there was no convincing her that Obama was not Muslim.... I'm a white woman, I voted for Obama based on the issues, and his life experiences... He's had 20 years of life experience that IS relevant... He has more legislative experience between the State and Federal level than his rival, so I hesitate to see how anyone can claim otherwise.

If going negative is what someone has to win an election, believe me they are not getting my vote under any circumstance. You can debate the issues, but when you throw the kitchen sink out there, whether you have the experience to back it up or not, well, that's negative. When you start mocking the people who vote for your rival, that's personal and it's negative against everyone who has cast a ballot for your rival. That's a deal breaker for me.

If it's a choice between Clinton and McCain in November, I'll be casting a ballot for Nader, at least he is the voice of the economy, but has no chance of winning.

I saw that this morning as I was checking the news, I forgot to post it. The delegates just aren't there for her to pull ahead, even if she runs the table (not likely).

And the chances of the supers completely discounting the votes of a very popular candidate who has brought new blood and a breath of fresh air to the party? Equally unlikely...

I wonder when Obama starts pulling out those 50 new unannounced superdelegates that he has in his pocket that Tom Brokaw was talking about on MSNBC last night?

I think there's a math problem for them both right now... Obama won 13 states that don't obviously count, just about every state he has won has been or is being discounted in the media and in the blogs... Super's who are going to decide this see it, they know it, and which way will they flow? I have no idea, but I can only say what both my husband and I feel..... Neither of us will vote for another 4 years of GWB politics and neither of us will vote for Clinton who whnes about States that were taken out of play long ago, and throws the kitchen sink out there whether the facts support what is being thrown out. Nevermind mocking the people who have voted for Obama... sorry, can't vote for a candidate like that, it is just more of the same politics I want to see ended. I will continue to volunteer for the Obama campaign, donate to the campaign, but at the end of the day each candidate has problems, the question is who can overcome their specific battles with the Super's.... it's something none of us can answer.

Can I just say that I LOVED the end of the Cleveland debate when they asked Hillary and Obama why they are the best candidate and Obama listed all sorts of good things about Hillary. He said she's a great person, and would do a great job running the country but he would do it a little better. She looked flabbergasted and her response to the question sounded petty after that.

Can somebody help me with what I overheard last night? Sorry if it has been covered, I just don't know how far back to look for it.

On CNBC, I heard them talking about Clinton saying or implying about Obama being Muslim. When did this happen and what exactly was said? From what I could gather, she is basically fueling the whole e-mail thing calling his religion into question.

Yes, well, Devil's in the details, Steve Croft asked her whether she thought Obama was Muslim, at first she said no, she went on a little spiel and then said, something to the effect of "so, no, not that I'm aware of", she didn't clearly say she knew he was a Christian. It's been reported they've gone to the same Prayer Breakfast's at the Capital and yet she couldn't "really" give a definitive answer when asked... it really was more fuel to the fire so to speak.

Thank you. I caught just a bit of it and could not believe that she would actually stoop that low.

Came about when the Drudge Report said that her campain had 'leaked' some photos of Obama in Kenya a few years ago dressed in a local outfit, which included a head-dress and looked a bit like a Muslim outfit. I don't know if it's true or not, she has come out against it.

She also commented in an interview when asked if he was a Muslim that "no, he's said he's christian, there's no reason to believe that he's a Muslim, that I know of" (I'm paraphrasing.) Then Drudge and the media ran with her quote "He's not a Muslim THAT I KNOW OF". I saw the interview, they're totally making it sound like she was implying something that she wasn't.

I don't know about the first charge about the photo. The problem with campaigns is you always end up with a few people that do things that you as a candidate don't really want them to do. I give her more credit than that.

I hate the modern 'ratings at all cost' media.

OT, I guess, but if I were a Muslim American (and there are a couple out there)....I'd be highly insulted that "being a Muslim" were being tossed around as if it were a bad thing. That's what really gets me. I know he's not, but geez....I'd be embarassed to admit that I even care one way or the other you know? Anyway....just my thought for the day.

I'd be insulted too. I think it's sad that people wouldn't vote for him if he were a Muslim.

This guy "theories" have way tooooooooo many holes. He needs a new calculator!

For instance he says "Then on April 22, the big one, Pennsylvania—and it's a Hillary blowout, 60-40, with Clinton picking up a whopping 32 delegates"

How in HECK does he figure that out????

PA has 187 Delegates. If Hillary gets 60% then she gets 112 Delegates, by my math...not 32!:confused3

He's talking about the difference in delegates. Pennsylvania has 158 delegates (not counting supers). If she wins 60%, she gets 95, Obama gets 63. She gets 32 more.

He's using this counter:
http://www.slate.com/features/delegatecounter/

Hillary needs to win every state from here on out by huge margins, which is highly unlikely. The superdelegates would have to decide it.
