O/T -Husbands wallet and new coat was donated to charity.

I just need to vent. My husband just called me and told me that someone moved his coat onto a pile to be picked up and donated to charity. His wallet was also in the breast pocket. I believe it was the janitor in the school that he is working at. He is not sure what charity either.

I am frustrated to no end. I have put a hold on all of our accounts and credit cards. Thank goodness I am done my holiday shopping.

I hope we can track it down. The coat was brand new. He just cut the tags off this morning too.......

I had this happen to me once - I was working for a local charity at their location for the town-wide garage sale and someone mistakenly thought my brand new jacket from Northern Reflections was for sale. I had just gotten it the day before and removed the tags that morning.

And I had a $20.00 bill and brand new Clinique lipstick and blush in the pockets - good thing I hadn't left my car keys in it! You'd think they would have noticed the heaviness in the pockets!

Hopefully someone at the charity will notice that there is a weight in the pockets and return the wallet at least so he doesn't have to replace his Driver's License and all.....:

Turns out the clothing was donated to family who just imigrated to Canada. He was able to get his coat back and wallet with the cash intact. There wasn't much cash in his wallet, so he donated it to the family.

Now I have to call all the credit card companies....
