Just booked our trip to WDW and Universal over New Years, 12-27 thru 1-1. Has anyone had any luck getting any type of discounted rate (Ent, Fan Club or HR All-access) over New Years Eve at any of the on-site hotels? The best I can do is a AAA rate at the HRH, would love to get something a little less expensive.

We had AP rate at HRH last NYE. It took till the middle of December before I could get it. I would check back every so often just to see if anything would open up & that was the best we could get. I am thinking the rate was around $140 or $160 for a gdv, not as great as ent. but much better than rack!

When I went to cancel my April res at RPR with Centeral Res., they asked if I wanted to rebook instead of getting the deposit back, they checked the 1st of July and said that the Ent. rate was not available but suggested booking at the ENT. RATE for $15 more into the HRH.

WHAT MAGIC!!!

Thanks for the replies! We booked the HRH at AAA rate of $224.00+ tax, with upgrade to Club level because we are gold Loews 1st members. I think that is a fantastic rate, we stayed at HRH club level last summer and it was great.
