Since I didn't have time to 'create' a FE for our aborted cruise - we were just bringing a gift bag with our names on it

Angelica - add us to the fish extender list, our stateroom is 6550 also, not listed on your master list.

Will do - working on that probably later today or tomorrow.

Sorry - just sticking my nose in here every once in awhile. Lots to do and have been busy with my dog Shay. Now it seems he has something going on where he has this "syndrome" called Hossens, etc. where it causes droopy eye. But that is usually caused by some type of pressure on the nerves that run through the chest to the eye. They took an x-ray and now they find out it looks like he has some type of mass right next to his heart that is also effecting his airways a little bit. I have to schedule him for a echo/cardiogram I believe to get that checked out soon. I'll let you guys know what I hear.

Please let's keep the FE thing inexpensive.

can be done for sure

Also, do we need a FE with so many pockets? Would one with two pockets be ok?

Since I didn't have time to 'create' a FE for our aborted cruise - we were just bringing a gift bag with our names on it

we did multi pockets just for the fun of it. Sometimes people left gifts for certain family members, i.e. a girlie one for molly or boy for wilson. Also we gave "other" gifts to our close friends.

I think the FE can be whatever works, it's not about them looking the same, just abour having fun :goodvibes

300 + people or 300 + rooms??

Maybe we need to keep it to one gift per room.

~ 150 rooms + 300 people

P&PD for your puppy Anjelica~

:dog:

Thank you - we have his echo scheduled for Monday. Hopefully its just a fatty cyst or something similar that hits the older dogs.

Everyone else - FE - I don't think I spent more than 2/3.00 per stateroom the last one I did in September but we only had maybe 20 or so rooms participate. I did a little brown bag with pirate coins, beads and pirate stickers for any of the kids, etc. I might do something similar this year. But honestly I can't imagine we would have a ton of participation - or would we?

I was thinking that also, as since this is the only place we are "meeting", how many rooms are listed on your master list?

"oh yeah! And we're doing a swap the first night we're on board together

All of us are bringing 25 (very small) items that represent ourselves to put into the swap boxes, lunch box size. Nan and I will fill the boxes and put them out for everyone at a meet we'll set up for the first night onboard. Each person that participates gets to choose their box.

it doesn't have to be store bought, some of us are making things to go into the swap boxes"

That quote was written by Colleen On the xmas 2005 cruise.

It was a fun gathering. And this was what we did. Not too expensive, not too big. I have a problem with things being hung on the door. In 2004 someone:confused3 don't know who :confused3 took the things off of our door.

Aisling, Nan or Colleen can explain it better they planned it out.

The meeting place was in the middle of the ship where the computers are. there is a bar & a seating area with tables. We had it at the beginning of the cruise.

Hi Jill :goodvibes and congrats, not sure if I told you that yet.

For sure with FE you run the risk of having someone take your stuff, but it is also really fun to see what is "in the mail" everyday.

I liked the FE better than our boxes to be honest. But they are labor intense, going thru all the floors and delivering, but that's what kiddos are for, right :rolleyes1

Well, thank you. (for the congrats) A lot of people were remarking how great my outfit was. Now, I have Colleen to take my picture so you guys can see it also.

I doesn't really matter what we do. I just thought I would throw that in.

You are still going arn't you Please.

Jill, you're probably nite nite by now, but what are you doing Christmas day? Think about spending some time with us, we're like family, ya know. I was thinking of having a little Christmas party in our room at the WL...we have the Jr. suite booked, so it's two rooms, and Club level, so the concierge can provide us with drinks and munchies. I'd love for Anjelica and family, Brenda, Ryan, and friends, and Artman and family to come, too. And any of our cruise friends who'll be in WDW at that time. This would be on the 26th, since Chad and Louise won't be arriving till then. Anyone interested?

I forget when Debbie's going down and where she's staying. We're going to need a master list for where we're all staying pre-cruise and dates.

Aisling, I love you for not forgetting about me.
We are flying in on Christmas Day :santa: and if we fly Frontier (I know, they are unreliable. Fortunately or unfortunately we have air miles and that would mean 2 free tickets.), we won't get into Orlando until 10pm. I think we are planning on going to Epcot and Magic Kingdom on 12/26. We do have a whole week after the cruise at our timeshare. Who's at Disney World the week after?

I so need to lose at least 15 lbs. before the cruise!

OOPS! Forgot to add that we are staying at the Sheraton Safari on International Dr. on the 25th & 26th.

I enjoy having the items swapped but think the fish extender is a better idea~much less labor intensive...Nan and I did alot of coordinating to make that "lunch box" happen.

Good morning,

Anyway, I may be sad later this afternoon.:guilty: But it really is for the best.

Other than that, all is well by me.

Wishing you all a good day!
you are SOOOOOO sweet - i'm so sorry:hug:

I saw some footage later on yesterday about the fire - and saw the roof caving in on the one building - suspecting it was the one that King Kong was in

Kara just called during her lunch break - the 'list' went up today and she is bass clarinet (first chair) for wind ensemble next fall - the 'top' concert band in the school

:cool1:
AWESOME - congrats to Kara!!!!

that's what we did - & all us "moms" met about 1/2 hr before the "meet" which was scheduled for 3 or 3:30 & stuffed the bags....it was really geared towards the younger kids...but Ryan liked the candy & we did get some CD's with Disney music (which is now all on my Ipod:rotfl: )

So far just a couple but I am behind on updating my list, etc. I'll work on it this week and if anyone else wants to participate and you are NOT on the list on the website shoot me an PM and I will get those "checked" off as I go through them.

Artman, you are too funny!

I'm popping thru again, headed out for some shopping (I need new work clothes  ) and banking (my Magicmeet is just over a month away~)
