NYE - Easiest way to POP from Poly after EWP?

I am planning on taking the kids to the EWP at the Poly (9pm) on NYE.

Please tell me the easiest way (using WDW transportation) to get from the Poly to POP after the EWP. Being NYE, I am worried that it will be crazy busy.
I am toured the POLY once, but not familiar with the disney transportation in that area.

Take the monorail or launch (boat) from the Polynesian to Magic Kingdom.
Take the Pop bus back to your Resort.
If you're really heading back for the evening after the Electric Water Pageant, you shouldn't really have any problem with crowds on the buses.

Thanks for the info.
It looks like there will be wishes at 8:30 and then the EWP at 9:00 pm so we will be able to enjoy both before we head back to the POP for the evening.
