NYE at Contemporary?

What are the locations from which you can watch fireworks at the Contemporary? Do they have a beach like the Poly where you can see Wishes?

I'm going to WDW with my family (my parents and my teenage brother) in January. After looking at everyone's travel schedule, we booked an extra night - first night - at ASMusic on NYE. I have dinner reservations for NYE at Chef Mickey's and planned to tour the GF and WL to see the Christmas decorations. We will not be in a park at all.

However, I'm now pondering upgrading to the Contemporary and surprising everyone when we arrive. WDW isn't showing any availability, but AAA is.

If I go Contemporary, is it worth it to get a tower room and watch the fireworks from the balcony? Is there someplace else I can watch them at the resort if I stay in a garden wing room? And why, oh why, can't I just make a decision? I used to think of myself as a decisive person...

If you are able to get a Magic Kingdom View in the Tower, then you will have a 100% clear view of the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom, If you do not end up staying there and keep you're ADR on New Years Eve for Chef Mickey's, then my best advice is to watch the fireworks from the 4th floor observation deck. The only problem with that is it will be very jammed and others will get there early to get a spot.
