I have recently discovered both Pesto and Nutella, wow, so good! Yes I know they're not at all related :) but I'm wondering how you use them. I'm sure y'all have some great ideas and recipes! TIA!

Not a recipe just a way to enjoy... Nutella on toast - 100 times better than peanut butter

Pesto on any pasta plain and simple. It is also good on pizza instead of red sauce.

Basic but delicious ways to enjoy them!

Im assuming that your referring to basil pesto (there are so many!). Pesto as a spread on crusty roll with fresh mozzarella, tomato and grilled veggies. Yummo! Pesto with really ripe tomatoes and fresh mozarella slices.

Nutella on crepes with powdered sugar. Nutella on graham crackers. Nutella on vanilla wafers. Nutella on toasted oatmeal bread. All good stuff!

For a snack, dip pretzels sticks in Nutella. Yum!!!

Not pesto fan (I don't like that much bazil!).

My favorite "quick" breakfast is nutella on a toasted bagel thin with banana slices on top - yum, yum. Can also make peanut butter and nutella sandwiches. Stir a spoonful into hot chocolate.

For pesto, I love it on pasta, particularly ravioli and tortellini.

Smooth nutella onto crescent rolls, roll up and bake as usual. Sprinkle cocoa powder on when done and you have an easy chocolate croissant.

I keep pesto on hand for quick pesto chicken sandwhiches. I get frozen pre cooked chicken patties from whole foods. Throw them in the mircowave or toaster oven with a tiny bit of mozzarella and pesto on top. Then put on a whole wheat roll. So healthy and so fast.

My nutella recipe, not so healthy. We make strawberry nutella milkshakes. Just use vanilla ice cream and ad nutella and frozen strawberries to taste.

I make panini sandwiches using pesto mixed with mayo on sliced Italian bread with whatever lunchmeat and cheese you like. We like traditional pepperoni, ham, mozz and spinach. Spray a preheated countertop grill with cooking spray-it only takes a couple minutes. You can also do it in a pan-we like ours pressed down with another pan-they get crispier that way.

In our house, the girls eat nutella on a spoon:rotfl:

I have made a chocolate bundt cake and topped with nutella while still warm-the boys like that one best.

I could live without pesto but the joke at my office is Nutella is my husband...

I LOVE Nutella on Ritz crackers!

My kids favorite breakfast is nutella spread on mini whole wheat bagels. Sometimes for a treat, I will make a sandwich from a waffle ( leftover homemade, but frozen should work) and spread between the layers.

I make garlic /pesto bread in the oven. Yummy

Peanut butter, nutella and banana sandwich! :lovestruc

Nutella: nutella and banana sandwiches with toast, as a dip with crackers, teddy grahams, apples or strawberries, on top of pancakes/waffles, on top of brownies or just with a spoon:)

Pesto: as a marinade for chicken breast, as a dip with bread, with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese or just toss with cooked pasta for a meat free meal

We make chicken pesto pizza every few weeks.

Thin pillsbury pizza dough
Classico pesto (can get 4-5 pizzas out of a small jar)
Bacon cooked extra crispy and crumble up
Cooked chicken (season first with Montreal Chicken seasoning or use left over chicken)
Bag of Italian blend cheese

We also love Nutella- I like it on toasted rye

block of cream cheese on a piece of foil
cover with pesto
add tomatos and sprinkle with shredded cheese
fold foil to close and put on grill until cream cheese is soft
eat with tortilla chips or crackers
