I called to check on availability and was given a rate of $129/night for September. Is this correct? Why did I think it was $99??

$99.00 was a rate given to teachers through last year after a typo in the newspaper....they honored the error.
$129 is the correct rate :)

The $99 rate was indded an eroor that appeared in several major newspapers around the US. It only applied to teachers, and it expired on Dec. 21, 2001. The regular teacher and nurse rate is $129 per night for the standard room. For nore info look on the Swan Dolphin FAQ, by clicking on the link below. Good luck planning your trip.

I stayed at the Dolphin last week at the nurse rate of $129. They waived the $8 resort fee and also gave us our choice of a balcony or an Epcot view room. We went with the Epcot view as it was FREEZING and we knew we wouldn't use the balcony. It was great.

Yes, you can always waive the resort fee. We always do. I think though that this is the start of peak season and it is harder to get those frebbie upgrades then, but always try. You never know unless you do.

Is the $129 include tax or is it $129 plus tax?

no, the tax is not included..I seem to remember that someone posted it was close to $140 with taxes, but that is with all the resorts , they are not qouting the rate with tax included.
Hope that helps.
