Sorry for bringing down this thread a level or two, but be honest I was half joking with "jerk-face" thing I haven't called anyone that since elementary school and my 9 year old daughter called my son that today during an argument, to which she was made to apologize so I guess I should too, so sorry if I offended anyone with the jerk-face thing.

No offense here! I thought we were just kidding around. I hate to say it, but I didn't take it seriously. sooorrrry.

When my kids were little, I would call them NuNu-face, since I had made it up, and it had absolutely no meaning. It stuck, and we still use that term in our family - mostly as an affectionate term, when someone has been silly. (Sorry if I came across as a Mr. Crankypants!)

You could never be a Mr. Crankypants even on your worst day!! My nephew went running to his mom a couple of years ago that his sister had called him the f word. Her parents were livid until they found out he meant fart face. Of course, we had to laugh but not when they were around! Not into name calling unless you wear stripes and carry a whistle! You don't do you!

Well, I put in for, basically my dream job or at least one of only a few jobs that I would consider my dream job and tonight I got it! I know a lot of you could probably care less where it's not Disney related but after close to twenty years of coaching to finally end up with this, unreal.

Congratulations HR!! That's fantastic. Not many people get to say they have their dream job so if I were you I'd be shouting it from the rooftops!

I feel like I've missed something really juicy, but I'm probably better off minding my own business!

I've spent the entire day taking a wallpaper border off of DS#2 room. I hate wallpaper! Whoever invented it should be hung up by their toenails! Talk about a waste of a beautiful day. Oh, well hopefully tomorrow's weather will be just as good.

I, too, am working at a dream job. However, it is a nightmare - and I can't wake up!

With any luck our Governor and legislature will come up with an early retirement incentive as part of our next state budget and I could be retired in about 6 weeks! Worst case scenario is that I can retire in about 18 months. With the latter option, you can be sure I will find some way to schedule family medical leave - all 12 weeks of it! - I've got the sick time accrued to pay for it!

That's exactly right. Up to $4K per contract. GMAC then charges the card, receives the deposit and cuts a check to the closing company. If you're in no hurry, it probably adds another week to the process.

Hi everyone! Nice to meet you!

We went with a small contract, 80 points at BWV. That's all I could talk my husband into. Hey, he first said I could only buy 50!! We love WDW and rented points to stay at BWV in January and fell in love with it. My kids are teenagers and loved the tennis courts, bikes, and the community hall to play some fierce games of ping pong. We also walked over to the Fantasia miniature golf. We loved being right there near everything. We are renting points again in November but couldn't get BWV and are staying at SSR. My new contract starts in October but I don't think I will try to use my points instead of my renters. From the DIS board reading, I heard that's hard to do (change reservations) and I don't want to upset my renter. It will allow me to go next year with doube the points!

I don't need to have it done in a hurry so I will probably go with $4k on my cc and the rest a check. Thanks for the advise!

Oh, and I already have 3 people at work that want to rent my points!!

I think you are right Grandbuddy. I've done such a good job at selling everyone that it's such a good idea to rent points like I did last time that now I've stuck my foot in my mouth. If they have their way, I can't go myself for the next 5 years!

Maybe I can now work on them to buy their own and leave mine alone!

Another day of "Life in the ER" awaits me and I'm tired already..

My preceptor at the new hospital is also a Disney fan. She's looking into buying DVC. I think her top choices for resorts are AKL and WLV. I told her if she buys AKL, the *current* best way to go is with Disney. ( She wants at least 200 points ), if she wants WLV, I gave her several sites to shop around. If she buys AKL from Disney, I told her to use me as a referral and I'd split with her..

Back to working on that AKL add on. I told Bernard I'd call him back tomorrow.

Good Morning Everyone,

We will be be busy packing the shorts and swim stuff today and after one more day at work tomorrow heading down to for the magic for a few days. Our princess turns four Wedesday and asked what she wanted most for her birthday.. well you guessed it a trip to see Mickey, Donald and the gang. Shes a chip off the old block lol. Going to be staying two nights at our new home VWL than offsite the last night since everything was booked. We are taking her to the PPP for her birthday. We really enjoyed this when we went in Feb. The last day is at seaworld. I guess we might have to sit in the splash zone at the Shampoo show as she calls it lol. We finally got in the system but no points yet. We will go by SSR and get our temp. card and plan to go by TSS and get our gift basket.

Rambler, have a great trip!! It is funny that you mention splash zone at Sea World. Guess what poncho Laxdad wore to the lacrosse game Thursday night!? Yep. We forgot we had it. He looked funny walking around with Shamu on his back!

Today is the big OSU/Duke game!! Go Bucks!!!! That would be the upset of the century!! I think it will be an uphill battle but I never expected they would beat Cornell either.

Lots of homework today. Only 2 more weeks of this class...thank goodness. This one has been demanding. Then on to statistics! That could be quite a hurdle.
