Operating on the premise that this is your "second home," housekeeping (mousekeeping) services are more limited than if you are paying CRO prices for a resort hotel experience. You receive enough towels for the capacity of your room; and it is assumed that you will use them when you are clean, and can reuse them for the three days before that 4th day trash and towel service. Most resorts give you the option to reuse your towels, since "green" became so popular; and most of us are accustomed to reusing our towels at home. If you are not so accustomed, extra towel packages are available for a fee; or you can use the W&D, if you have a 1BR or larger. (Paying for the extra towel sets would be preferable to taking your towels to coin-operated machines, if you are in a studio.)

I just wanted to add that in a Studio there is free laundry as well. You just need to ask where the laundry room is.

also......an update from yesterday.......

The bank manager called my DW this morning. She told my DW that they couldn't remove the two $12.00 wire charges for the closing company's bank, but they were removing not one, but both $20.00 wire charges that our bank charged, so actually, we are coming out $8.00 ahead with the two transactions!!!

nice! It's the only right thing to do. My bank kissed my you know what after their screwups. They forked over two dinners and a $20 gas card. You might want to check in with the settlement company and explain the mistake and see if they'll waive one of their fees...what have you to lose!?!

OK yes I did put an offer on a 50 point VB contract today. I am waiting to hear back from the seller but the offer was asking price so it should be fine. BUT there is not much if any chance I will pass ROFR so I will be n the line with you guys, but I will probably be too small to get on. But I am not going to say the offer until later, I am afraid Aunt Edna will come out and throw rotten tomatoes at me. Anyway it was with GMAC, I did finally get a hold of someone and she is very nice.

If you generate too much trash to make it to the 4th day, there are dumpsters, where you can deposit your bags - just as there would be if you owned a vacation condominium in a nice resort, anywhere.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I knew there was no daily housekeeping provided & I have no problem with that. I always reuse towels at home so that's also not a biggie, just wasn't sure how it all worked. Also glad to know there's somewhere to throw the trash if need be.

I have some good news of my own too! We just did a balance transfer and got our rate on our DVC purchase down to 2.99% until it's paid off!!! I'm so excited!!!

Miserable lacrosse game! It was yucky! They lost 6-4 but Laxlad had a couple really good shots on goal. Here is the big news. Drum roll please!!!

Laxlad's season is not over. NO, no. He is practicing with the Varsity and traveling with them to their last game and tournament. Whooo hoooo!! His coach got to decide who plays up. What a compliment. That's better than getting Disney Docs!!! He is so pumped! Me too!! It almost makes sitting in the rain worth it!! Yea, it was worth it.

Congratulations to Laxlad! That's excellent! Hard work pays off...trying to convince DS11 it takes more to be more!

OK...I have to brag now! DS11 had a game tonite...two for three w/two triples, three rbi's, pitched one 3 up 3 down inning w/two strikeouts. Huge effort in a 6-3 victory! Got the game ball! He was pumped!!!!!!!! His team has been struggling for wins and/or good games. It was great to see them play well for a change.
