Number of people per studio??

I know this has been discussed before, but I feel like a fresh wound was just opened. I made reservations for a BW studio with 2adults 3 children months ago. Today I call to make another reservation and they tell me that I will be turned away if I try to put that same family in a studio. Well, why did you allow me to make the first reservation. I brought up that there was a rollaway cot explained to me and she said I would be rejected. We can put everyone in a 1 bedroom, (also supposedly only sleeps 4). I am so frustrated with them. I've only been a DVC owner for a year and at least half the time they make me nuts!!!!

go check your past reservations - see if you didn't reserve a plus....

a plus studio at bwv can be 5.

the regular studio at bw can only be 4. they may be out of pluses.

of course the CM should have explained that to you. I don't know why she didn't.

you can't use cots in ANY dvc resorts. your guide should have explained that to you. Look in your contract if says if there too (I am pretty sure?)

any extra bedding YOU have to bring.

The studio plus is not a reservable class of room, it is only a request. DVC has never had cots or rollaways available. While 5 is currently allowed in a one bedroom unit, you will need to provide the bedding for the 5th person, as well as towels (you can get extra towel packs from housekeeping for $6). 5 is allowed in a studio if one person is under age 3.

Perhaps you were allowed the 5th before because the fifth person was under 3? If you read your contract before joining, you would see that only 4 plus a child under 3 is allowed in a studio. Actually, the contract says the same thing for 1 bedrooms, but MS has been making exceptions to that recently.
