Now where is my stroller

so I know CM will move strollers, at our last Disneyland trip I hung glow sticks on it at night and I made a sign for it. I found this on Amazon. Has anyone used them? Will CM say anything?

Likely, the CM will say, "Cool!"

Just turn them off during the MSEP, Celebrate the Magic, and fireworks viewings.

I'm not sure how big the stroller parking areas are at Disneyland but at WDW I did not find them to be so large that you wouldn't be able to find your stroller. If a CM moves a stroller it is usually just a few feet, nothing too crazy. If you have a sign you shouldn't have a problem finding it.

I didn't have a problem after dark. I find the parks to be well-lit and also the later it gets the crowds die down (especially those with small children) so the stroller parking areas are less crowded. If someone has difficulty seeing at night it might help to have a glow stick or light of some kind.

We have a neon green echo stroller and did pretty good finding it except for at PotC. That is a massively insane stroller lot and I think the CMs intentionally move the strollers to the furthest spot possible from where you left it. Whatever works to help you track it down in the parking areas is a good idea.

I'd go with the glow sticks and nothing flashing. There are flashing LED sensitive people and it can cause major medical issues. Just stick with the glow sticks.

I wouldn't use them, they look like they are supposed to be used when you are driving your stroller or bike down the road in the dark. I think the blinking would be obnoxious and very distracting...imagine you leaving them on while you go on a ride, those in the area will be looking at the blinking lights for what, 20, 30 minutes? Stick with the glow sticks.

We loved them and got a number of compliments on them, actually (from CM and guest alike). We turned them on when we parked it and if we were separating (I ran to restroom, DH stayed with DS, for example). It was very easy to find each other in the dimmer parts of the park. Some places, such as the brightly lit main street, it was obviously turned off.

We plan on doing it again this year!

could be a problem at AK if you use glow sticks because od the danger to animals if they get the glow sticks and try to eat them. not sure I they are banned but they could be

These have the ability to them blink or a solid light. I guess I could test them out. I have glow sticks left over from DL if these are too bright I could send them back.

I'm curious on if these lock onto the stroller handle. The reason? People see the light, think, "that's a great idea" and remove one for their own. They wouldn't do that with the glow sticks since those are easy to get.

At some point, you have to decide what convenience is worth leaving out in the open, and what it too valuable to tempt others.

From reading this thread, it appears that these must be THE most controversial, cutting edge, CM taunting, seizure-inducing, sticky-fingered guest-tempting devices ever created. The only thing they won't do is choke a hungry peacock.

It's just LED lights, for cryin' out loud.

If you want to try 'em... try 'em.

Personally, I wouldn't likely use them. We didn't have any issues finding the stroller we rented on our last trip (and it was a black city mini..so easy to lose in the dark). If I were going to do anything to light it up, I'd use glow sticks before these. Just personal preference.

Yup, I'm sure the CM's plan there day around making guests search for their strollers.

What's wrong with a bright scarf or ribbon tied on the handle? That's something easy to pinpoint. I always found ours by the hang bag I made that went on the back over the handle. A quick scan of the rows of strollers and it stood out. Nothing lit and nothing that could bother another person either.

It is a balance between being distinctive enough to find the stroller and not being so distinctive that you draw constant attention. But I don't like talking to strangers.

As someone upthread, those can and do trigger seizures in people with various medical conditions. I personally wouldn't use them. Something that doesn't flash would be better.
