Now that you don't need accommodations, how do you get cheaper passes?

If we don't need complete package deals, where have you found deals on park passes? Do they have any meals/passes packages? We usually eat breakfast in our villa and one p.s. a day and grab cheap snacks at other times, but those ticket prices just keep going up!

I usually by my tickets from paramount. I buy the largest ticket available and than save the unused days for my next trip. With the tickets prepaid and the "free accomodations" I can squeeze in another trip sooner than I used to since it is so cheap.

I paid $301 for a 7 day with 4 plus features and it came with a free character breakfast coupon.

It also looks like your trips are close enough together that depending how many days you stay, an AP might be best for you and get 2 trips out of it.

Good luck

Paramount? Please tell me more.

This is a great thread for DVC members, given our vacation ownership, what's the best park pass approach. We tried AP passes this year because we'll have two trips to WDW within a one year period.

Like Captain Midnight, I've gone the annual pass and time my trips to make the most of them. As I've found after 10 years of trips, I don't "need" to visit the Disney parks everyday ( well not enough to justify spending all day, everyday in the parks) I now make do with buying the park hopper tickets and saving any left over days for another visit. With a better deal on AP/PAP I'd probably buy them and use them to enter one of the parks for 3 or 4 hours everyday then eat at (probably) Epcot, but I find I can't justify the expense with the way I visit the parks so I'm more and more finding I visit the parks maybe just one or two days in a weeks visit, making use of the other facilities (either at the hotels or around Orlando) and eating off site. If you split you visit into two stays at different hotels may be possible to justify a LOS pass for one ( to visit the parks) with no pass for the second, use that time to chill around the pool, shop and use that time to visit other attractions that don't require park tickets.

I found it was cheaper to get the 10 day passes from Paramount (which include water parks, DQ and PI) than to do the UMP that Disney provides at a discount with DVC. The free character breakfast was a nice plus also...

Questions about admission media are best answered on the Theme Parks Board.

Thanks.
