Here is a little project we did today, first the before - a couple of years ago

and the after, today. A new easy to assemble gazebo.

The trees will green up in the next few weeks. Unfortunately, the water is only 60, it will take till May 1st to be warm enough to get in.

Marsha.. that is incredibly beautiful... but where is your snow??;)Love the pool and the rock landscaping.. very nice.. gazebo is wonderful too..

Beautiful pictures, Marsha!! I am looking out at the snow falling and my trees covered white, wishing I were in that pool right now!! ;):)

That looks so nice Marsha. I have a pool, but it is shared with with many, many other condo residents. No privacy

Looks Great! Have you used your chiminnea yet?
I have one by our pool and we toasted way too many marshmallows last summer!

Marsha - you are the Marsha with snow! We use rocks instead of grass, cheaper in the desert, no watering.
Cassie - I love the privacy, NO ONE can see with out looking over the wall, No one lives behind me, and the pool is not seeable by the neighbors.
Lynn CC - yes we use the chiminea, we didn't know the blue paint would come off with the heat, oh well. I haven't toasted marshmellow, but maybe one of these nights

And Dan - no snow, but for you.....this is as close as it has come to snow at my house since I moved here in1995. Hail in August last year.

We won't see green till May! The only way we get our pool hot is to put on a solar cover.

I love that pool & Gazebo:)

Very very nice.....................you're so lukcy to have a back yard big enough to put one in.

My kids would love a pool, but we just don't have any room for one:(

This is gorgeous, Marsha. Makes me homesick for Arizona.

I love that gazebo. I saw one at Sam's last week and I would love to get it. A friend of mine has one in her back yard is I thought is was gorgeous. Much cheaper than having a porch built but I don't think my DH would go for it.

I think I'll save my pennies and just get it though. Do you know if you can buy replacement covers for it - that was my only concern about it?

Everyone is always invited to my pool! It is the favorite part of my house. Yes, we are lucky to have a big yard, most neighborhoods in Mesa (actually just about everywhere in the valley) have 8 feet on one side, 5 feet on the other and 20 feet to the back wall. And everyone (well it seems like it)has a pool, cause it's hot! I have the "end of the cul-de-sac lot, so our yard is pie wedge shaped. It is so big, 1/3 of it is totally unused, we call it the vacant lot. One of these days we will do something with it.

We got the gazebo at Costco, I couldn't believe the price. I am not sure about a repacement roof, I didn't see anything in the paperwork about it, but it came with a 2 year warrany. It does take 2 people to put it together, and it helps to have a power driver with a hex head, maked the finish work on the base faster. It was too good of a deal to pass up, especially compared to building a wooden one.

So everyone come visit. Spring training sarts soon, all you Cubs fans, come on down.
