From our whale watching tour out of San Diego. On the way back to port this gull just floated along with us and I thought it made an interesting picture.

The next two are one of the two bubblers we have coming up from the tanning ledge in our pool. I was just playing around - not expecting to get anything - but I like these. They are different.
looks alot like the Gertrude Jeykel rose i used to have..beautiful!
this was the first yr it bloomed, i thought i had a photo when it was more open but can't find it..the second is a close up..they smelled so good but it only bloomed once a season...last time it bloomed(before we moved) it was about 2x the height of here and just covered with blooms....

That is a beautiful rose. The blooms look quite a bit bigger. The Cecil Brunner blooms are and inac and a half or so across and they have a nice scent but it is not strong.
Here are some shots of the tulips (I think they're called Parrot Tulips) in my front yard. The first one I'm kind of iffy about - I like the way it's non-traditional without the greenery behind the blooms, and the colors "pop" with the brick in the background, but it also looks kind of stark:
