Here's one I took last yeat at Wishes. I know that fireworks are hard to take and even harder to take well, but I just like the colours on the Castle.

Handheld... against a very large tree! ;)

Bob, mind saying where you took that? it's beautiful...husband and i used to go to blue ridge and Nantahalla-Hendersonville areas every fall ( might need to make a "detour" if we drive to disney this yr. nothing like the early morning mist in the mts or a beautful waterfall...although yellow stiches volcano is pretty nice too!

My stream photo was taken last week just below Bridal Veil fall in Yosemite National Park. The snow pack is about 180% normal and the falls are running at the highest rate in 20 years according to a park ranger.

Natahala and Linville are always good places to photograph waterfalls (and to visit). There's nothing like the NC mountains!

Excellent pic boB. Great water movement for handheld. What were your settings?

It was a *very* large tree that I held the camera against to keep it steady for 1/6 second! I took a number of these and most look pretty good. Even over 100' away from Bridal Veil Fall we were getting soaked!
