Now I'm scared...

I've been renting with National/Alamo for years, but for our upcoming cruise I booked with Budget because there's no National location near Port Canaveral. I've never used Budget so I have nothing to go on. Now, after reading another travel message board, I'm really concerned. It seems like 80% of the posts there are very negative about Budget. How have Disers done with Budget lately? I'm hoping some of you will have had experiences booking at Port Canaveral and, perhaps, help put my mind at ease...

We've sailed out of Port Canaveral 4 or 5 times and each time we have rented from Budget both pre & post cruise. I don't have anything negative to say. They were even nice enough to store our 2 carseats at their office while we cruised so we didn't have to drag them onto the ship.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Budget. They were excellent to work with when I used them. I look forward to using them again in May.

I used Budget for when I went on DCL and have used them in cities all around the country and have never had a bad experience.

I concur with the other posters. We used Budget back in November for a cruise and had no issues. The wait to pick up and drop off in Cocoa Beach can be a while, but other than that, there were no issues.
