Hello to all,
I just decided to let you all know how glad I am to have found these boards, even though our trip is less than a month away.
I have utilized alot of your tips and was able to get early PS's at a few resort restaurants that I wanted to try.
This is my 4th trip. Stayed off site first time with my parents, stayed off site on my honeymoon, went in 1996 with DD and DS and stayed at the Fort Wilderness cabins. Never ate at Disney and we ran around like nuts (using the Unofficial Guide for touring.)
This trip was sort of last minute, and, yes, we're paying through the nose for our package, but my DD is so excited to be going back to WDW...my DS isn't coming along, hasn't come on vacation with us for several years now,so he's staying with grandparents and hanging out. My DD is 14 and can't wait...doesn't remember much of our first trip when she was 7 so she's been looking at the photos.
We're staying at the GF because my DH really liked how it looked when we were there before. The pictures are great and it's on the monorail.
So, you'll be proud of me. I think I'm getting the hang of this...why, you ask? Today I bought one of those plastic shoe holders for my bathroom toiletries and also three lime green bandannas for our luggage and rental car antenna! Those simple things have finally gotten me into the "Yeah, we're really going!" Disney spirit. Thanks you guys!
Oh yeah, I bought a Passporter too. I am a Virgo afterall!
