I've never stayed at CBR, so I can't really comment on that part of the plan. I have, however, stayed at the Wilderness Lodge and it was fantastic. Maybe I misread something in your earlier posts, but what would be a better deal than 40% off at a Deluxe? I can't imagine getting a much better room rate than that for WL. If you can comfortably swing it, I would say book the WL.
Hey there! Thanks for the comments. Wilderness Lodge does look fantastic - I can't wait to stay there someday! As far as what could be a better deal than 40% off a deluxe - you're right, it is a really great deal. At Wilderness Lodge, 40% off our room would save us about $768 - because the 40% only comes off the room portion of your stay. Free dining would save us about $864, so that's a slightly better deal. And the 4/3 would save us $1022. If we were talking about a more expensive Deluxe, like say, the Poly - then 40% off the room rate would beat free dining. Not so at the WL. But really, the issue is, should we upgrade? Because no matter how good the deal is, we'll still pay less at CBR. I'm just trying to decide if I should be responsible or splurge. Hmmmmm.....
