It’s been down most of the day.
Different in what way? How did they describe it felt different?
I rode it a couple of times today. I also thought it felt smoother. I'm not sure if it was just my imagination but I didn't feel like I was sliding on the bench as much.
That’s what they said, that it felt smoother. I didn’t ride it because my younger one didn’t want to ride. Hopefully will get on it soon! The waterfall at the top of first lift hill has been replaced with steam. Smoother ride in general. That’s my two biggest takeaways.
This makes me sad. I always used to get my hand wet and splash one of my kids. It was our tradition. I know the change is minor and probably not a big deal to most….The waterfall at the top of first lift hill has been replaced with steam. Smoother ride in general. That’s my two biggest takeaways.
My husband ALWAYS did this to our daughter. This is a really sad change. I don’t even want to tell them…they’ll be so sadThis makes me sad. I always used to get my hand wet and splash one of my kids. It was our tradition. I know the change is minor and probably not a big deal to most….![]()
I am so stoked the ride is finally reopened, but... I am kinda in the same boat. My wife and I used to always splash each other, it's too bad they've removed that from the ride. This makes me sad. Walls are still up around the Casey Jr. loading point, but trains are running around the track. Lots of walls are down around Storybook Canal. It very well could be abruptly removed from the refurb calendar soon, just like Big Thunder Mountain was.So yeah with them just reopening Big Thunder
I think Casey Jr will open before 2026
My sources say both will open on November 14 and Storybookland will have its holiday decorations on the facades.Walls are still up around the Casey Jr. loading point, but trains are running around the track. I hope you're right! My sources say both will open on November 14 and Storybookland will have its holiday decorations on the facades.
Fingers crossed. That would be incredible! My sources say both will open on November 14 and Storybookland will have its holiday decorations on the facades.
is this actually conformed to be true? what if they just don't have it going yet? This makes me sad. I always used to get my hand wet and splash one of my kids. It was our tradition. I know the change is minor and probably not a big deal to most….![]()
I've only seen videos taken since the reopening, but the swap to steam looks pretty deliberate. Maybe there will be some sort of "A" mode for water and "B" mode for steam, but... I fear the steam is here to stay.is this actually conformed to be true? what if they just don't have it going yet?
