Is it accurate that historically POR has not been included in the fall free dining offer? Trying to plan strategically for next trip...

last year it was excluded after October 2

I sooo feel your pain. I am just trying to accept that the free dining promotion dates might not appear until the end of April as they have in the past. It's hard but we can do this!!!

I too am constantly stalking the boards, as our 180 day mark if we go on our earliest week choice will be 5/1, so we are going to likely be cutting it veryyyy close waiting to hear about FD dates! We are lucky enough to be able to choose our check-in date as either 10/28, 11/4, or 11/11 (staying 7 nights). Priority #1 is free dining; priority #2 would be lower crowds; priority #3 would be Christmas Party/decorations. Based on years past, it appears they block out FD during Jersey week, starting the Sunday before the convention, and running through the Saturday after the convention. Since the convention/week is later this year, am I correct in thinking FD will likely be blocked out Sunday 11/6-Saturday 11/12? Which week would you choose in this scenario?

I know they skipped giving Disney Visa cardholders the option of grabbing the discount before the general public last year, but if they were to bring that back, how does that work? For instance, if I am using a TA, and I give her my Disney Visa number, is she eligible to call during the early period, or do I have to do it myself? Also, is it still just the $200 deposit that is required to grab the FD discount in that instance?

I Am pretty sure we are seeing the end or very very limited FD in November this year. Poly is fully booked for the first 3 weekend in November. (Standard rooms)

Might be a room only discount , but I am willing to bet it will be limited resorts and days.
