We do Pirate Night rather casually... themed t-shirts, eye patches, the provided bandanas, etc. But, we may go poke around the clearance aisles on Nov 1st!:

Anyone out there getting costumes together for the Pirate party?

My girls will be dressing up.

All 4 of us will be dressing up! Still need to get DH a shirt of some sort. He's got a big hat and a parrot Dressing up for Pirate Night was one of the things my kids were most looking forward to about this cruise. We are BIG Pirates of the Caribbean fans around here!!

I was wondering if we have a final count on the exchange list yet? Are we going to have a cut off date for signing up? I don't want to fall short of items but I want everyone to sign up who wishes to. Thanks for being the organizer for this.

Anyone else going crazy with anticipation?? I think I am going to drive my coworkers crazy because I find myself talking about the cruise every day hahahaha!!! At least they only have one more week to listen to me, after that I am on vacation! Wahoooooooo!!!

TiggerzFan - My sister-in-law who will be on the crusie with us is interested in the FE Exchange - I sent you a PM with all her information.

I bought some more stuff for the exchange this weekend while out shopping - it is getting very exciting!

We will not be dressing up for Pirate night - my teen boys were looking at me like I had 2 heads when I asked them if they wanted to dress up

I know we're getting super close so here's the semi-final FE info. I will e-mail the listing to everyone by the end of the week so that those leaving early will have it. I have listed kid ages (that I know) just to be helpful


7 families/staterooms participating

(5 girls - ages 3,4,6,11 & ?)

Is there interest in meeting? If so, usually DISers meet just before or at the Sailaway Party. A casual gathering, just to say Hi and put faces with names.

I'm getting very excited!!!! Hey, does anyone know if DCL sells any cheap souvenirs, like pencils or something for a dollar? I like to bring something back for my students whenever I go on vacation. But of course it needs to be cheap! It won't be cutting into my Konk Kooler fund!

Disney sells lots of stuff but even "cheap" stuff isn't cheap. Hopefully, there will be some good "deals" at the gift shops.

We are in Acton, CA. Leaving Saturday, 11/08 with a pre stay and post stay. Cruise only this year. Did the four day park and cruise a couple of years ago, but the kids were a little to young to enjoy it all. Spent more time taking naps than exploring. I'll give it a few more years.

EIGHT DAYS TO GO!!!

Just wanted to let you know that we're really warming back up here in Central Florida! The weather forecast for Thurs/Fri/Sat is sunny and 80-83 daytime, 60-62 at night.

Looking forward to meeting everyone. I know some of you are leaving soon to start your pre-cruise vacation. That is one disadvantage of living here - there really is no pre or post cruise vacation. If you see us in the terminal come say Hi! We'll be the family of 4 in blue shirts with DCL name tag designs.

Some DIS groups meet around 3:00pm prior to the mandatory 4:00 safety drill and others have met just before or at the Sailaway Party which is at 5:00pm.
