I didn't know Disney did anything or that illness was reimbursable under the vacation protection plan. I will have to check into it.

If DCL knew about your illnesses (perhaps you visited the Medical Center), and you had been quarantined, they have been known to provide dvd player/dvds, etc, and other goodies, especially when it involves kids.

As for your trip insurance, I believe they just need some sort of documentation, but depends on your policy. Friends of ours got some reimbursement when their DS was quarantined for a couple of days. Might come under trip interuption. Definitely give it a try!

I thought the weather was just perfect. Did anyone else see that rainbow off the starboard side on Nassau morning. I couldn't get a picture because my camera was fogged up. It was spectacular. And Castaway Cay was so wonderful.

Yes, we did see the rainbow and got a great photo. If only I could post pics on this board. If I can't figure it out, maybe my sister (neonurse) can. Hopefully I'll be able to share it.

DD6 and I also saw the dolphins before we left dock. Actually she spotted them. It was amazing...just like the whole cruise.

We had a wonderful cruise! Man oh man. It was everything we hoped for, and more. We rebooked for November 2009 on the Magic. Can't wait! We had already booked that cruise, but were able to take advantage of the 10% discount. My parents and inlaws will be joining us on that cruise so we rebooked for them too. It was so easy to do!

We were up on Deck 10 at the Sailaway party, but didn't know who to look for! We did see the dolphins too which was pretty neat. Only the kids and I made the Pirate party, by then DH was not feeling so great. DH got sick on Wednesday- throwing up and nauseated. He thinks it was the ribs on Castaway Cay the day before, since that's the only thing he ate that the rest of us didn't. No diarrhea or fever, so I don't think it was norovirus. And the rest of us never got anything... I felt bad, Wednesday night was our Animator's Palate night which we all loved, but DH missed it. He felt better by Thursday morning (of course).

The weather was terrific, wasn't it? Such good luck! Not too hot and not cold. Enough to enjoy the pools thoroughly for sure, and the beach at CC.

Thank you everyone for the FE gifts!!! We had the best time giving them out, and coming back to the room and seeing them. The magnets were from me, as well as the bookmarks on the final day.

We went back to WDW for 4 more days after the cruise (we'd done 3 prior to the cruise). But by then DH and the kids were so in the relax mode that they didn't want any more of my commando touring! It was all take it easy... We got back home to California on Monday. I'm still doing laundry!
