November 3rd: 4 night Disney Dream - Who is joing us?

I think I am in complete denial about this trip. Normally I am all anxious before a cruise and have already started getting my clothing together. I haven't done squat yet including getting into my boys' room to hunt down their pirate gear from last year. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of scrambling then next few weeks when I finally come out of denial.

I just pulled stuff out and started packing as much clothes as weather permits. Its been warm so everyone has been wearing shorts and t-shirts but its finally fall now so why not start. Glad I did because my luggage plan needs adjustments so I don't over pack. I am a suitcase short. I am thinking about packing a box with all the miscellaneous stuff (OTC meds, sunblock, ear hats, etc) but not sure what to put on it so it makes it to my room. I assume everything on the reservation.

FYI for everyone not on Facebook, we are discussing tying are bright blue ribbon, similar to Donald blue shirt, to your carry-on or bags so we will be able to recognize each other either on board or in the terminal.

T minus 14 days AND counting .......are you guys psyched??? I started partying last night at our annual Oktoberfest here in Lantana, Fl., the 2nd largest Oktoberfest in the country....had a great time..ate a lot ( and NOT fruits & vegetables!! LOL , drank alot, sang & danced alot, and now I'm gonna chill till the cruise....then- party time again ...as Styx once said.."I'm sailing away...set an open course for the virgin sea.... see yous all in 2 weeks in the Vista Cafe at 2:30!!!!

I can't believe we're less than 2 weeks away!!! Our family leaves for Florida in one week and one day! This is so exciting! I can't believe it's finally happening!!!

I just did a little research and our cruise has at least 86 rooms still available!
It used to be more when I checked a couple of months ago, but I have a feeling that the magic situation may have changed that. So I guess its good that its not too full huh?

ok, good, so it's not just me doing that? LOL. One week from tomorrow night we leave to start the drive to the Port. I'm hoping that we get there in enough time to check in to our hotel, then head to the port to watch the Fantasy sail away on Saturday. I think it would be cool to wave to them one day, and be on the ship waving back the next day. Then time to party with everyone and enjoy our cruise! WOOHOOO!!!!
