November 3rd: 4 night Disney Dream - Who is joing us?

Hello everyone, We will be on this sailing too, it's a celebration trip for my son's 4th birthday. Traveling with us is
Myself DW Tracy
DH Rick
DD 6 Addie
DS 3 ( turns 4 nov 10) Jamie
DD 1 Ella
And my sister Tori

Cant wait to sail on the dream again. We were on one of the first sailings celebrating Addie's 4th birthday. (hoping that means we will have to sail again for Ella's)

Interested In the Facebook group how does that work?

Hello everyone.. Its still kind of slow here... Someone was supposed to be setting up a FB group but it never worked for me:)

I seriously cannot wait for this trip!!

We just booked this cruise while on board the Fantasy last week as a "dummy" date. However it may turn into a real cruise since it does include my birthday. :cake:

It will be myself (Jeff) and my wife (Val) on board. We are both retired and, if we make it, this will be our 11th DCL cruise. We have now sailed on all four DCL ships.

We're on board!
We booked while on a Dream double dip in Aug (our 1st cruise ever) - it was just me and my boys (DH went on a golfing trip). LOVED the double dip and wish we could do that again, but this cruise worked great for our schedules: I will be in Orlando the weekend before for a work conference, DH and DS9, DS6 (will turn 7 on the cruise) will fly in mid-week and we'll spend 4 days in WDW then head to port!
Our highlight was definitely CC and having 2 days there was awesome! We are looking forward to it and showing DH around!!!

I wish I would of thought of that!! Get married on a cruise ship then you have a perfect excuse to cruise again and again!

Welcome to all the newcomers!

Replying to my own post. We just decided not to go on this cruise. Instead we are moving it to the 9/20/14 Southern Caribbean sailing that was announced today.

Hope everybody has fun.

Hey everybody! Nice to see some action going on in this thread! Very excited for this cruise! Only nine more months! :)

Hi. We also signed up for this cruise during our double dip last August. We are two mature adults but tend to act like kids on our cruises. This will be our 6th cruise, all DCL. We are also DVC owners and would like to meet other owners if there are any on our cruise.

My sister and I are meeting at WDW on October 24th, staying at OKW. As she is leaving for home on Nov 2nd, my DH will be driving down to spend the night at OKW, then we'll drive to Port Canaveral the next morning and hop on the Dream. We'll be on Deck 6 in a category 05D stateroom, with plenty of door magnets in place so we can find our room in that long passageway. :thumbsup2

Looking forward to continuing this discussion as the cruise date gets closer. :coffee:

Welcome!!! :) We are also DVC members and will also be at OKW the night prior. It is me, DH, and 2 DS. This is our 5th DCL cruise and we can't wait. We are on deck 6 too in a cat 8A and its huge, we are more excited about the room, our at least I am. :cool1: Google search it and see!!! We will be returning to BLT or BCV for the remainder of the week and a quick stop at Epcot for F&W. FYI we found a highly rated Cruise & Park for 4.99/night with free shuttle to & from port. Better that $75 at port. I see extra Disney Dollars for the cruise. :cheer2:

Hi there! I sent you a PM with our stateroom number. We're on the port side of the ship, not too far back from your location on the starboard side. Wish we could return to WDW for another few nights, but DH's pass has expired and we don't want to purchase another one right now.

I saw an ad for the ParknCruise for $5.99, and when we drove by it last August it looked pretty secure and the parking lot was just about full. They have a free shuttle, too. It's at exit 52, across the river and about 6 miles closer to the port than the one you're using. Both places get good reviews so we'll probably spend the extra $1 per day and try them. Just about any place is cheaper, though less convenient, than parking at the port. We're not in a hurry so don't mind waiting 5-10 minutes for our ride to show up, and we won't have to lug suitcases across the street and into the parking garage.

We've requested Turtle Pond area at OKW. We like the pool there and it's not as congested as the Hospitality House area. We just hop on any park bus that comes by if we want to go to HH. Maybe we'll run into you at OKW so we'll recognize a familiar face onboard the ship. :thumbsup2

Hi all, we will be joining you on this cruise. There are 11 of us going from my family! This is our second cruise for my DH, my kids and myself, but the first for the rest of my family. I would love to be added to the FB page and am starting to get FE stuff together too!

My family will be on this cruise as well. We have two daughters ages 9 and 6 and a little boy who will be 3 when we leave. This is our first cruise and we are so very excited. :cool1: We are also DVC members. Just curious what parking lots you are planning on using. Is this something I need to book now?

If you are going to use one of the off-site secured parking lots, you can go ahead and reserve a spot, or wait until the date gets closer (but don't wait until the last minute because some of them do fill up). We're going to use parkcruise dot com and it's only 5 minutes away from the port. Another recommended lot is cruise parking of port canaveral dot com. You can park in
Disney Cruise Line's parking garage for $15 a day ($75 for a 4-night cruise), but the off-site lots are much less expensive per day. The off-site lots have a free shuttle to and from the port.

Hi everyone!:wave2:

DH (Mark, 27) and I (Melissa, 24) are joing everyone in this cruise.:goodvibes This will be our very first cruise and we are nervous and excited at the same time! I am hoping to join and do the FE group thing.:hyper: Hoping to make new friends and have a good time on the Dream!
