November 3, 2012 - Election Escape Eastern!!

I'm so glad everyone seems to like it!! :)

Having a logo just makes it feels like the cruise is a little closer. I will give it a little while to make sure no one else has something else to submit . If we don't have any others, I'll post it on our first post.

Whew .... Ok, I've edited the first post with a few more details. Let me know if you have any other items that we should add or things that we should change. :) I'm trying to keep that post up to date.

Have I mentioned it?? 355 days!!!!!!!!!

I love the new design! How do we order them??

Well, we can't have them made by a commercial printer because of Disney copyrights, so we'll have to make our own shirts. I hate that, but that's the only option we have.

Question of the week - what other hobbies do you and/or your family have??

My 15 yo is into videography. He also plays piano and drums quite well.

My 6 yo rides horses and plays piano.

I ... well .... I'm rather eclectic ..... I love horses, paper crafting, photography, sewing/digital embroidery, kids ........

Dh doesn't have a lot of hobbies. He is walking on the treadmill right now, though ..... and walking all the way to Port Canaveral on it. :) He tracks his progress as though it were a real trip. Kinda cool.

DD #1 is a swimmer. She's in a swim club where they swim 6 nights a week. We're lucky if we make 4 :rotfl: but she loves it. She's also my mini-me when it comes to planning. She also plays oboe and violin and is a wanna be fashion designer.

DD#2 is a professional ham. Has love for all things soft and stuffed and could probably support our family if she sold her artwork since she has an uncanny blend of talent and humor.

DH is a hockey player trapped in the body of a financial advisor. He scouts hockey players as his hobby job on the weekends for a canadian agency. Oh, he is also a mad guitar player.

I'm a wanna be scrapbooker and full fledged Disney freak. Is there anything else?

Shell: that is so cool he can track his distance like that! Awesome!

Well DD is a cheerleader, Shopper, Jetskiier, scrapbooker, traveller and photographer, lm pretty sure she takes after me cause l do the same stuff except for the cheerleading :)

DH is a mad keen fisherman and jetskiier, and here in Australia the two dont usually mix....

Now shell l have one of those walking machines and l never thought of mapping a trip on it perhaps some inspiration for me? probably not..your family sounds very talented..

Jen l love it, we both love scrapbooking and Disney..

Question of the week - what other hobbies do you and/or your family have??

I love reading, scrapbooking, photography, quilting and cross-stitch. I also love to cook and started canning this year.

Sulley is into photography, reading and computers.

We both enjoy traveling and do so as much as possible since the boys have left home. Now we are enjoying turning our grandchildren into little Disney fans! And it's working!

I enjoy waterskiing competitively, and general do it your self projects.

DW loves to do paper crafts/scrap booking

DD (15) is a high schooler, loves field hockey and waterskiing

DS (6) loves to take things a part and figure how they work

Yeah, it's pretty cool how he does it. Each night after he walks, he posts his distance on FB and "where" he is on the map. Then, he usually posts an interesting fact about that area.

Hahaha .... it certainly doesn't motivate me! LOL!! Now, if I were actually getting there while walking on that thing, that might be another story.

Hmmmmm .... sounds like a lot of paper crafter/ scrappers and photographers. I love to scrap, but I find it quicker to make a card. LOL! It takes too long to go through the pictures I have. That part stresses me out.

I'm on a stamp company's design team (I make projects to show off their stuff, and I get free stamps.), and I often make scrapbook pages as my sample projects. Needless to say, I am in the Haven (my craft room) a LOT. :) No complaints, though.

How cool is that! I just finished getting my room done, but haven't had a lot of time to spend there. How sad is that? but by the time I get home from work, my eyes are shot from working on the computer all day :surfweb:that I don't want to focus on anything even if I could! And the DGKids keep me hopping on the weekends lately! I need some Mema alone time! :lmao: yeah, that will happen....

Looking forward to the cruse, and counting down the days.

Just got in from an amazing 9 day WDW trip, with my DW, 2 DD, and MIL. MIL has not been to WDW since 1978, Think we may have created a future Disney Nut. She is already talking about when she goes the next time!

We stayed 2 nights at our DVC home resort Saratoga Springs, 2 bedroom villa, and then transferred for the remaining nights to two connecting rooms at the All-Star Movies (to take advantage of the free dining plan offer).

Did the Very Merry Mickey Christmas Party on Tuesday night (first time) and enjoyed watching the Holiday transformation of various resorts that we dined in during the week. We were disappointed that we we had to board our Magical Express bus at 5:15 am this morning. But we got a surprise in the lobby of the AS Movie when the lobby was magically transformed to a holiday display overnight. What a Disney magical sendoff!

Will catch up on the cruise boards tomorrow! Have a great night!

We just got back from 7 nights at Bay Lake Tower. Great weather wasn't it! We did CRT for dinner Tuesday night but did not stay for the party. Have gone to it twice before. Have two 2012 Fantasy dates, was thinking we would likely go in May but having gone on 8+ day vacations in 7 months, I think November 2012 is more realistic!:rotfl2: Maybe I will change my mind after I recover from this one, but really want to sail again with Jen's family from our 2011 Dream cruise. Looking forward to obsessing with all of you. :yay:

Hahahaha ... yeah, I understand. There are days (like today) that I want to do absolutely nothing. I *should* be up there creating, but .... I'm just tired. :)

You're welcome. I'm glad you like it. Since no one has expressed opposition to it, I'm going to put it in our official post one. :)

Scrapbooking.... :) Seems to be quite a few of us.

Oh, yeah ... Disney goes without saying!! :)

Woohoo!!! The first one hooks you!

What a neat project! I've read it through, but not as a project with the church or anything. Very cool.
