@sissy. I am so sorry! I didn't mean to add any pressure! I am not crafty at all so I will be very impressed with any homemade gift!!!!

I was just teasing! lol :goodvibes I was actually playing around with my FE stuff earlier. I love making crafts.

I love to craft too but I am terrible at it!!! I did make 8 sets of hair bows for our youngest so she would have one for each day of the cruise. I am assembling a homemade FE gift for everyone but I wouldn't call it crafting! ;)

I'm a DVC member as well. I usually go to the member meet with my HDTV but I'm leaving him behind and bring a friend that has yet to discover my why I love Disney so much. I figure I have 7 days to teach her.:thumbsup2

Okay, stupid autocorrect! I'm leaving my DH behind not my HDTV! :rotfl2:

Gotta Love Autocorrect!!!! I just thought it might be some kind of pet name that we were going to have to ask you about..... :rotfl:

:beach:This will be our second cruise on the Magic, but our 30th overall. Looking forward to just relaxing and having a great time. We would've loved to bring our DD (18), but she has too much going on with school to miss a week, so just the DH and I.

Don't have a stateroom assignment as we just booked today!

I requested to join the FB page, so hopefully will spend the next few weeks getting to know some of you before we sail.

Talk to you soon,

Belinda and Mike
Alabama

Our family would like to be included in the FE but we first would like to know how many cabins are involved? We just want to get an idea to make sure we can do it. Thank you.

I think the last unofficial count was 34 people in 10 families but that might have gone up by a few!

Hello! :goodvibes We just booked this sailing this afternoon. We are on the EBTA in May, but can't wait that long to be on the Magic again. ;) We flew down this past Friday to see the Magic arrive in Galveston early Saturday morning, and also watched her sail away that afternoon (hot!!). Hope y'all got to see the youtube that was posted - it was lots of fun watching her cruise in!!

It will be me (Mandy), DD (2), and my parents in a verandah gty.
If there is still room in the FE list, I'd love to at least let my daughter participate. I know many make crafts, so no need doing the four of us... this cruise is all about my daughter and letting her grandparents see her beautiful smiles around the characters. Unfortunately, due to school, our kindergartener will be back at home with Daddy. (But hey, she gets to attend MNSSHP in October and the EBTA in May... so at least she has something to look forward to!)

I need to do some catch-up reading! :thumbsup2 Will do this evening when work is done. Looking forward to meeting you all! :)

13 cabins right now. If you and Mandy join it will make 15.

Is anyone else following this week's inaugural cruise? I have several friends on it (three different groups) -- kinda fun tracking where they are at right now!!

How are you tracking the cruise?

On updating the rooms when we are onboard? Is that a printout posted on a door? I did not think most have Internet access??

For room changes how it will work is one person will have a list on their door. If you do not have a room assigned yet due to being GTY or you upgrade at the port you will need to go to that room on the first night and update the list. Everyone else will need to check that list when delivering their FE. It should not be too much of a problem as we would all need to go to that room to deliver FEs anyhow!

How are you tracking the cruise?

There are some cruise ship tracking websites, and the port cams, but easiest when buddies who are on the ship check in on Facebook while in port ;) Makes me think "Oh, Grand Cayman... how nice it would be to be there right now..." etc.

When we were watching the Magic come into port Saturday morning, hubby was watching on the internet webcams so he could try to spot us. Various cameras in the port of Galveston area.

I'll volunteer to be the room for the list. We have a room number and are right by the elevators. What is included besides room number? Family name or screen name and family member count?
