November 3, 2007 - Western on the Magic

I sure hope that there will be at least a spot for me and dd to get a mani-pedi on ship! she loves them and its nice mommy daughter time.
dh and i also are thinking brunch at palo but i dunno if thats go to work.
Also wanted to know if there are any 21-30 y/o's who would like to make friends. DH n i r both 26 n would like to be able to maybe make some new friends!

as for how many days left...well my ticker should let you know!

I've booked a massage - can't wait!! DH and I are just into our 40s:scared1:

How old do kids have to be to use spa???

How do you add the countdown ticker to your profile? I can't figure it out:surfweb:

I hope there are some openings at the spa when I get to make my ressies! I can't stand the waiting!!! My DH and I are also just into our 40's ( me a little further from him unfortunately!). I hope there is somewhere for all of us to meet up on the cruise. My DS9 and DS7 are beginning to get very excited also!:yay: :yay:

I am not sure about ages for the spa but I thought I read somewhere that you had to be 18--but not sure.

We are flying in the morning of the cruise--it never occured to me to fly in the day before. We should be at MCO by 11:30 so I think we'll be OK. I am starting to worry about changes in flight times!

I think they hold back reservations so those who book at the 75 day mark and they hold some for boarding days. So everyone gets a chance. I know because my last travel agent really screwed up my trip, loooooooooooong story, but on boarding day I was able to book spa, excursions ect.

Strousmous: don't worry. Connie is right about DCL holding spots back. In fact, I was able to book a last minute excursion for DH the afternoon before.

Don't stress about the flights, etc. We're all going to get there on time and on the ship. Before you know it, we'll have drinks in hand dancing at the send-off party on deck:cool1:

Would love to meet up w/you guys too.

I know they do hair braiding on the cruise ships.... we have never done this so I don't know if they also do hair wraps. My daughter loves to do this at the parks, or disney hotel.... its a tradition.... Do they do this on the cruise also?

My daughter(turning 11).... wanted me to let you know if you have kids pm graygables on our thread.... she has set up a private yahoo kids chat for our kids to get to know each other. She monitors, and the kids are really getting to know each other.

We are also flying in the morning of the cruise, but I think it will be okay since we won't have to worry about snow this time of year.
We also have DS 9 and DS 7 who will turn 8 on the cruise.
It would be nice to meet up with everyone.

Just a reminder...

If anyone has kids (up to 18yo) who aren't signed up for the Yahoo group yet, please PM me and I'll get them an invitation to join! We're up to 15 "members", but more kids than that, since a few share an email.

Booked Palo for dinner, no brunch available. :( I booked it late, so we can still dine at our regular rotation as a family. I'm not keen on the idea of 2 meals in one evening, but I promised the 21yo we'd get to Palo, so there it is.

I did not realize what a stressful challenge getting everything in we'd like to would be on the 7 nighter! The 3 night was a go-with-the-flow, but I'm uber-planning on this one!

Just remember, you will never be able to do everything, so don't stress yourself. Enjoy!

OK Magical Memories Scrappers! I'm starting to work on the designs for the kits/classes this week! :woohoo: I'm still talking with DCL trying to figure out WHERE/when we can get together, but there's time.

From what feedback I've been getting,12x12 layouts are the first choice, but I'd like an idea of how many you all would like to have. My class layout kits generally run $15 for 4 12x12 pages (2 layouts) and I was thinking 8-10 would be a good number, but if anyone would rather have more (or less) please let me know what you're thinking! I just got some AWESOME pirate stamps that will make a super-cool pirate party page. (say that 10 times fast!!! ;) )
