November 25, 2012: Mexican Riviera on the Wonder

Count us in for the FE! It'll be me and my son

Veronica
Leland (6)
Room:6307

We're super excited! My bestfriends and godson are joining us, they're stateroom neighbors ours; I'll ask them if they'd like to join also.

I think I've added everyone so far! Please let me know if there are changes.

Also wanted to say, we will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary as well. It was back in May but since we were in the process of moving across the country, we couldn't celebrate. :(

I'm getting so excited!!!

This is getting exciting with all the new families joining in on the FEE! I'm starting to look for a FE on eBay (no creative sewing ability :sad2:). We just sent off the renewals for our passports as well, so there's not too much more to do other than pack now!

BTW our stateroom number is 8102 if you want to add that to the list. Thanks!

Added! Thanks!

I can't sew at all so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Look on Etsy and EBay, I suppose.

I wouldn't mind having a small FEE. that means I can put more time into individualizing things. ;).

This is our second cruise Disney Cruise this year but the first one didn't have a FE. We would love to try it. After such a great experience on the Dream in February I talked my family into joining us for a cruise. All 25 us will be there. Planning on a lot of fun.

Oh yeah. Upgrades are nice!

Just let me know whenever it's final. ;)

Okay, I made my final payment to my reservation. My stateroom will be 7136.

Since, this being our first cruise, I read up on three things not really mentioned on the Disney Cruise site.

I wonder if anyone has any information on the following:

Pirate Night - Bring your Pirate costume if you wish to dress up for pictures, party and dinner.

Alcohol tasting - Martinis, Tequilas, Wines, Beers, or Mojitos for $15!!

Bingo - Buy in Bingo with Jackpots paid in cash.

Who's ready?

If you're looking for information on MR cruises, this TR is great for what it is. She took the cruise 2 weeks after ours departs only in 2011. It was one of those reports that clinched my booking of this cruise. She has every document that they handed out, every menu. There is a lot of side chit chat as they were trying to have a baby (which is due any day now), but it is a great reference for the cruise and what all the tastings and other events might be like.

I plan on doing as many tastings as I can handle, sounds like fun!

2 hours until we can all book Palo (if we want) and excursions! Squeeeeeee!!!!!

Yea for you! So excited I can't stand it!

I booked a couples massage for Monday, Palo dinner for Tuesday, Las Caletas in PV on Wednesday, Cabo Dolphin swim on Thursday!!

I didn't plan anything for the final day in Cabo. Wanted the option of staying on boat or shopping. ;)

Did anyone else plan anything???

We're booked in Palo for Brunch on Monday and dinner Thursday. I've been debating booking a massage, not so much whether to do it but when. There's so many things I want to book that we can't do until getting on the ship, like tastings, so I don't want to book a massage if there is something else going on at that time.

When do we find out when pirate night is? Or when we get to go to Animators Palate? I don't want to miss either because we have Palo booked. Especially AP.

Pirate night is usually Thursday, at least it was on past cruises. That's why I booked Palo that night. Most of the dishes seem to be made with coconut and other ingredients I don't like.

You find out your dining rotation when you check in. It will be on your stateroom key. I requested PTTAPTA, but there are no guarantees.

How do you request dining rotation? (and txs for info)

I put the request through my travel agent. If you booked directly, I'm pretty sure you could call DCL and put in the request. You would need to know which dinner rotation you wanted. I bet you could find the various possibilities here on the DIS, there are three I think.

I'm not sure whas "txs" means. I learned a lot of this from the TR that I posted a link to. She really did her homework on this one.

Hi Everyone! Just booked onto this cruise as our last USA vacation before heading back to Australia. We can't wait, haven't told the kids yet (6,4 & 7mo) but the older ones have been begging to go on a Disney Cruise all year. Its my DH Birthday on the 26th so we will be celebrating aboard!

Welcome! :welcome:

So if you don't mind my prying....where in Australia do you hail from? Also is this cruise finishing a long Holiday in the US or have you been living here and are returning home? Just curious...I have a very good DIS friend from Melbourne and have learned a lot of Australian geography since knowing her. Happy Birthday to your DH and I hope you have a WONDERful trip!
