Finally a little time to respond to fun questions! (I'm getting excited about this cruise!)

Who is your favorite character?
We are fond of Stitch and Mickey on the ship. My daughter is not into princesses, so they are lines we can happily avoid!

Which "Main Dining Restaurant" [MDR: Animator's Palate, Enchanted Garden & Royal Court] are you looking forward to the most?
Royal Court - Triton's/Lumiere's are favorites on the Magic/Wonder.

What do you plan to do on Castaway Cay?
CABANA No. 9!!!

What type/brand of shoes do you plan to wear on the cruise? (during the day)
I will wear my Merrell slides, husband his Kean sandals and daughter he Kean sandals or flip flops (depending on the activity).

Are you missing Thanksgiving [at home] for the first time?
We spend every Thanksgiving in FL with my parents (my dad will be 90 this November). This is the third year we have taken the Western Caribbean with them after Thanksgiving.


What are some of the favorite gifts you received in the FE?
Never participated before. Thinking about doing it this year if I have time.

What is your First Day Agenda?
1) Go to concierge lounge to check in, meet hosts, add activities/dining and have a few complimentary drinks.
2) Husband and daughter ride Aquaduck
3) Eat lunch at Cabanas
4) Hang out at pool with daughter until around 2:00-ish
5) Check into room, change out of wet suits, drink more complimentary drinks in lounge, walk around ship.
6) Safety Drill
7) Sail Away Party

What have you enjoyed previously on Castaway Cay?
Cabana No. 9! (notice a theme)
We have also rented bikes, hiked around and my husband has done the 5K.

What is the cut-off date to join the FE? I have never done it before because my job is so crazy busy that I'm usually running flat out till vacation, but this year maybe things will be different and I know our daughter (8) would love to go around dropping off stuff and would enjoy putting something together for each cabin. (Getting it onto the ship is another story)

What kinds of things do people include for FE? How many cabins do we have signed up?

We currently have 24 famillies signed up (I'm signed up but might not last - if my health issues takeover the time it will take me to finish my gifts I will need to drop out)

Walking around and dropping it off is a ton of fun so I hate to miss out

Back to Back on a seven or longer day cruise on the Wonder or Magic. Heck, just taking 14 days off work would be wonderful in and of itself. Doing it on a Disney Cruise would be bucket-worthy.

We're official; just paid off our balance today. Wanted to be done ahead of our 90 day window.
We also ordered our FE holder today. Not being overly crafty (or maybe I should just call a spade a spade and admit we're too lazy to try to make one from scratch), we scoured Ebay and Etsy to find a design we liked. We ended up ordering fro Gradysmommy based on a lot of positive reviews here. She seemed to have the most customizable options out there.
Getting excited now. According to the Shipmate app, only 3 months, 8 days and 19 hours to go! Not that I check it a lot or anything... lol

I like the name Kaylin, that is my Cousins name.

I do not think we are up to 35 FE Families, only around 25 or 26. I think the 35 is total number of families from the DIS Boards that have stated they will be on the same cruise.

Some say it is "Disney", some say it is "Dear", some say it is "DA--" (you fill in the blanks ) depending on the time of day and the mood they are in!

And by the way, I now join the ranks of PIF and can now start the serious planning so I can get the activities booked on 08/26 at the 90 day mark.
