November 24, 2012 ~ Western Fantasy ~ Pachyderms of the Caribbean

I have been having some health issues lately and haven't been able to get on here as often as I woud like to.

If you are in the FE and have "GTY" stateroom, please PM me when you get your stateroom # just so I don't miss it if it is buried in one of the posts.

I could really use a cruise right about now . . .
:surfweb:

awww  i too have had huge health problems, so i know how it can get you down. i hope that you feel better soon.

thank you for organising and keeping track of the FE and the meet thread - hugely appreciated.

i'm counting down the days til we get on that ship and we can do nothing more than :beach:

ruley3 - you need to clear out your PM folder . . . :wave2: . . .I will post my message here . . .

I see that you have 2 staterooms for this cruise. For the purpose of the FE, do you plan:

:confused3To have your FE hanging at just one stateroom (if so, which stateroom)?
:confused3Do you plan to have one at each stateroom (if so, who will be with each FE)?
:confused3Other? (please explain)

Thanks!

If you plan on staying at Disney before the cruise, this weekend is the 180 mark. I know Thanksgiving will probably be busy. I guess I need to figure out where we want to eat.

I have to jump ship everyone!!! We had a huge school conflict so we did a move to September.... I hope you all have a blast!!!! :)

Still here as well! Always reading to keep myself up to date.

I guess as the time to sail draws near, people are too busy planning. LOL

In another note, I actually managed a mini-trip to the World in May and I'm currently writing the trip report. As soon as I can post it, I will let you guys know.

i am still here... was in hospital for a while but am back now... i have been stressing about our FE gifts.. we're coming from australia, and have to be really careful about weight limits with our luggage :(

I don't know how expensive it is to ship from there, but do you know you can presend things to the ship as long as it isn't food?

I am still here. DH and I leave for our anniversary trip to Vegas tomorrow so that trip planning has been where my time has been going. Later this month I will shift more into cruise planning mode.

We booked a night at SSR for the Saturday we get off the ship since we are flying back home on Sunday. Have a waitlist in for BLT MK view so hoping that comes through sometime in the next few months.

DW and I will be joining in on the Nov. 24 Fantasy cruise. Looking forward to learning more as the summer goes by.

Alecia: not sure what you & Carlos are planning to bring for the FE, but if you're really worried about weight restrictions, how about bringing a few things that you can only get from AU, and picking up some stuff in FLA after you land? I think you mentioned you're flying in a day early. Just a thought.

What is "fe" and "au"? I am abbreviation-deficient.

Thanks

FE = fish extender.

AU = australia, which is where we are travelling from.

Thanks. Understand coming up from the land down under and hope you have a safe trip. Look forward to meeting you on the ship. Can you fill me in on fish extenders?

Here is a great link about what the Fish Extender is. jon

So, the DW wants to investigate and see if there is going to be anyone doing this fish extender gift exchange thing on our cruise. Where do I go to find this out? Also wouldn't mind being added to the page one list by whomever is keeing the list up to date. This is all new to me as far as the cruising goes. When we went in 1992 we did a DIS meet but we didn't have this fish extender gift exchange. Sounds like a fun way to get to meet people.
