November 24, 2012 ~ Western Fantasy ~ Pachyderms of the Caribbean

what is this COokies? on board? just cookies? like a tea party? sorry im slow sometimes :)

in other non impt news, i got a box!! now to fill it up adn ship ;)

Cookies is the name of the BBQ place on Castaway Cay for lunch.
Its a covered pavillion area with picnic tables for family lunches and then at the adult beach area they have several picnic tables with large umbrellas over most of the tables.

I dont know if they still do it but last November they were still having BBQ steaks and sometimes lobster at the adult beach BBQ. Not at the family BBQ. It just depends on what the ship has extra of.

Our last 5 cruises we have had T-bone steaks there for lunch. I hope they are still doing that.:thumbsup2

I will only be around for the next day or two to make any updates to the FE. After that, Jon (jjbescher) has volunteered to take over. He will also be handing out Maps and Spreadsheets at the meet for anyone that hasn't given us your email address, or loses their sheet.

Just to make sure that I have the latest information, I am currently missing the folllowing (and giving your email address is not mandatory):

If you do not currently have a stateroom number, I have had a request for your last name. If you don't mind posting that (so that someone that is heading out can at least request it when they get onboard), please let us know, or perhaps you could just pm it to Jon so he can get the info to pass on at the meet)

Thanks!

Thanks for doing all of this. I am sorry, I thought you had my email address. It is spiritualevity@gmail.com. Thanks again.

Hi Kathy. Yes, I'd certainly be interested in the pin trading:)--I'm not the earliest riser but lmk the time & place & thanks for organizing this!!:thumbsup2

:woohoo:

I think this was already cleared up - but I still think the best cookie you can get is from room service - 24/7 - free - I think it is a called "the big island cookie" (chocolate chip) - you must have at least one - or perhaps - one per day!!

Janice, I'm guessing you take quite a stash of $1 bills to tip your daily room-service help! And for a B2B that really has to be a lot of bills. 10 days to go, are you going to make it? I'm hoping you've put padding up at the house to make sure there are no more broken toes or bones to worry about.

Thanks for all the organizing. It really is appreciated. See you in a few weeks.

I am soooooo ready for a vacation!!! Linda is still on crutches - she goes back for xrays on Tue and then will follow up with the dr on Thurs - she better get the ok to stop using the crutches or she will be very very sad!! :sad1:

I had already reserved the cabana on Serenity Bay for both of our stops - but forgot the part about where I hadn't told her . . . so the other day I said, "I'm just happy I got the cabana so now we can get a private ride to it and you won't have to walk on the sand - except to go into the ocean!" - she looked at me like I had two heads and then got a huge smile and said she didn't know I had reserved the cabana!! hahaha - I'm no good with secrets!! :rotfl2:

Yes - I will be bringing lots of small bills for tipping room service - we normally get the all hands on deck platter (cheese and crackers) each night while we are getting ready for the show and dinner so we at least have some protein in us pirate:

thanks kathy for the info!!

Janice! i judt wanted to ask how linda is!! oh i hope she recovers ok and can have fun. so nice to get the cabanas. !!

i have my finger in a cast :( while just a finger, its also a huge PITA!!! 2 wks to heal. come on!! best wishe to Linda!! c u there.

Just got home from the Passholders preview event at Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom. This time we got to ride the Little Mermaids attraction but Aerial was off for a swim so her ride wasn't open.

The Little Mermaid attraction was really a great ride. All the little details Disney has done, even the walk through to the actual ride was really great. We have 2 or 3 photos I will share later when I get the time to down load them. The little kids will love this attraction!! Even this big kid loved it.;)

Hey Gang
We are thinking about going to see Orlando Magic vs. Cleveland Cavaliers at the Anway center Friday night before we sail. Does anyone have any insight on finding very attractive priced tickets? Is there any safety concerns around the Anway center we should be aware of?

I do not know about safety concerns, but I have used Stubhub for tickets before to NHL games. I also know other people that have used Stubhub.

It left early again today.:confused3 I went to the web cam at 4:45 eastern time and the Dream was already heading down the channel.

Also on the port canaveral cam you cam follow the instruction on it to bring up the Dream by todays date and watch it , if you ever miss it.
They record it.:thumbsup2

So when we come back from this cruise you can pull up our cruise and watch yourself waving if you stand there and wave.

Looking forward to that Janice. You deserve it after all the hard work you've done for us, the least we can do is sit at the computer and be jealous of you knowing we have one more week to go before we can join you!
