Just posted this for my December peeps and wanted to share here as well...

10 days (11/28-12/7), minivan through Dollar, $340 including all taxes and fees.

About $50 less than I got last week through Alamo...

Shea&Van - I was able to book a minivan 11/29-12/7 on Dollar for $207 (about $239 with fees) using the OCBV code from Mousesavers. A day shorter than your trip, but significantly less so try it out!

Just reserved through carrentalsavers.com with Budget for an intermediate SUV $172.81 for a week in early November. Lowest rate I've seen. Anyone else??

Yes it's legit. Heard about it here on Disboards in this thread and other threads. They don't take cc info. You just get a reservation #. Best rate I've seen and I'm still checking daily

Thanks. I just got a confirm for it I will keep checking as we get close but for an SUV that is a GREAT rate! (2 years ago we had a standard booked with Alamo (at the same time of year) for $143 and we ended up getting a Ford Edge that was parked in our row. But for $29 more, knowing we are locked into an SUV, I am really happy with that price).

Also, I just looked at Dollar and an Avenger (full size) for a week was $164 today ($35 less than yesterday). Still like my SUV rate better

Still no luck for me for Oct 25th to Nov 4th. Dollar is still 404.00 I don't know what to do. Still thinking I will go with National minivan down to 387. and we have additional driver for free.

I will have to check them out. The other night I got a couple of great deals for a full size and mini-van at travelocity through Dollar. My timing was perfect as those deals were gone the next morning.

Anyone going in November might want to go check carrentalsavers again now, I just did and got $214 total (inc of taxes and fees) for an intermediate car for 11 days. It's about $20 more on dollar's own site.

You're welcome & sorry it didn't work for you. Frankly I was surprised to get such a good price with such a run of the mill code (usually I have to get much more creative!)...maybe it was just good timing.

Yes, the rental is higher because of your travel time. TG is the busiest travel time of the year. Rentals, in general, are higher over holidays.

How on Carrentalsavers.com, how do you put a different return location. I wish to pick up at MCO and drop off at Port Canaveral, and I didn't see an option for that, am I just missing it?

I got 204.00 midsize from Nov 2nd pm to Nov 9th am mco. National. I feel this is high but havent been able to get it down.

I did use ET coupon 20 off and another code I forget.. lol I will have to look back and see.

The best I've been able to get so far is $205.20 for Nov 17-27 with Alamo back on Sept 5th. Used the code for the free upgrade from Midsize to Standard. Unless things have changed, MCO doesn't have a Standard aisle so we will be getting a Full size instead.
