Does anyone happen to have the link to the Dining Plan list of snacks... I know I saw a thread somewhere, but I can't seem to find it right now (no coffee yet!!!)

I've been taking a posting break (still reading, though!) and I just had to say.... 98 days from today!!!!:banana::banana:

Our babysitter is in WDW right now with her DD and seeing her pics on Facebook is making me more and more excited!!!

We aren't telling our girls about the trip until the morning we leave, so I've been using the babysitters pics as an excuse to talk with them about how great a Disney vacation would be -- if only we could go! Hahahahaha.:rotfl:

98 days still seems so far away....

95 days! Booked a Behind the Seeds Tour yesterday. Since it's going to be just me and DH we want to try something different.

DH and I want to do this tour as well but I haven't booked it yet. Guess I should. :)

Good Morning all!! :goodvibes

It's 95 days for us!! We can hardly wait, still so much to do yet and pay for but I am NOT stressing because I know it will all work out just fine and in plenty of time. I would love to get that ADR for Chef Mickey's on 11/15 but if it doesn't happen its ok-its just a tradition for us that's all. Maybe I will get some pixie dust!

Have an office day today and teleconference with my boss, I am new to this Nurse Case Manager job I have and I have sooooo much to learn but I am also loving it and all the flexability I have and that will be great when Rachel starts back to school. I just wish I had more hours as of right now- it's only part time- 20hrs and I would like to get up to 30 hrs so I get benefits. That is a huge thing for sure. I am just very thankful for what I do have as so many are still out of work.

Have a great day everyone!! :thumbsup2

ANOTHER DINING QUESTION...

Do you only eat at the park you are at?

I made all of my ADRs in the park we will be spending the day in, but I'm having trouble with our dinner ressie for our Magic Kingdom day. The park closes at 8p that day. I am having serious doubts about scoring the coveted BOG ressie, and I do not want to do Crystal Palace for dinner (I have it as a back up now, but I'm hoping to drop it).

The other MK dinner options aren't really drawing me in, either... We're doing Liberty Tree for lunch, so that's out.

I'm wondering if its worth it to leave the park for dinner around 5 for a 6p ressie somewhere else and rush to make it back in time for Wishes @ 8p?

We're going to the Xmas party so we will see Holiday Wishes... do you think we can skip regular Wishes?

I'm torn... :confused3

Ive looked into it but havent done anything yet

When we were there last week,we talked to a CM in the Land who told us it was no big deal and you can usually just walk up and plan a tour for the same day, but we have such a limited time for this trip that we just wanted to make sure we got the exact time we wanted.

No, but we stayed at Pop last year and it's wonderful. I would (and am) stay there again in an instant  No off-site for us, ever. We love being in the magic too much.

I think Pop looks great and I looooooovvvvvve the thought of free dining. If it were just me and my family that is definitely the route I would take. However, I am traveling with my sister. I tell her she is spoiled after living overseas for 15 years!:laughing:She is a Ritz Carlton girl all the way. She originally wanted to stay at the Grand Floridian which is out of the league as far as my pocketbook is concerned so she compromised down to Boardwalk. I did suggest WL, but, her family goes skiing every year (she doesn't ski) and WL felt too much like being at a ski resort. I understand her thought process on WL so it is on my resort visit list while there to see decorations.

I am now leaning toward The Swan. She and I both love Epcot and Downtown Disney. The rate I found for the Swan was 188/night which is very doable since we will split room cost. Now to actually book it!

Have you looked at the Plaza. We are eating there for the first time this trip. We have enjoyed Tony's in the past. You could also see what is available at the Poly or the offerings at the Comtemporary. You could also take the boat to the WL.

I have read that this isn't a hard tour to book. But I think I'm going to go ahead and book it just to make sure we get a time that fits our schedule well.

The Swan sounds like a wonderful compromise for ya'll. I hope it all works out for you. :thumbsup2

Any special anniversary ideas? I am trying to think of something to surprise my DH with while we are there. Going without kids, the planning seems so different.

Myabe look at the surrounding resorts too! THey are on the Monorail loop, Chef Mickeys, Ohana, The Wave, 1900 PF Grand Floridian Cafe~ all are good!
You can skip reg wishes... but if you eat at the Poly you might be able to catch them on the poly beach!
