aubreysmom09 - I hope whatever discount is best, you are able to get it! We have 2 adults, 1 paying child, and 1 free child. For us, it's definitely free dining since we are at a mod and the discount would be 20% max. That would save us $180. Staying at a moderate we'll get the regular plan for free and upgraded to the Deluxe plan - still saved us $900! So free dining + the upgrade is still a better deal for our family!

Well, with all the contraversy about when BOG opening I just booked by backup supper at The Wave. Has anyone eaten here? Still hoping for BOG though.

When I looked into upgrading to WL it was a $1520 difference. That was the cheapest upgrade

I agree; they are beautiful. Did you hand paint them? The cupcake theme is really cute. I've started on our shirts. I'm afraid they're going to take me a long time!

I really want to upgrade to a deluxe. We will be spending time just at the resort. It's $1500 more, and that is way more than our budget I hope if I hold out until october maybe it will drop drastically.

I hope a room discount comes out so you can stay deluxe!!

I know we are getting so excited. We made our chain at 130 days.

I haven't showed DH yet. He is willing to wear disney, but I think I will have to shop the disney store for him. I really need to stay off etsy. I found some really cute outfits and Kaileigh was sitting next to me when I found them.

One day on here and I already added a day to our trip! We decided to come in on the evening of the 9th that way we have the full day on the 10th and aren't exhausted from flying at the crack of dawn. We also changed our resort to All Star Music so that we could just get a standard room. SO...ultimately changing resorts, adding a day, and changing our fight saved us $100!! Woo woo!

Way to go! You are a member of a growing club here on this thread. Another day is never a bad thing!

Got to see the babies today! They are so tiny. Also got to see my sister in law. Still in ICU, but will be moving up to the maternity ward this afternoon!

Ohhh, that's so great! Hope it's smooth sailing from here on for her and her little ones. Glad you got to see the babies.

So happy for you! I still have 121 days...seems so far away still. But I'm having a great summer, spending lots of time with people I love, so I'm trying not to wish my time away. Plus I have a grandbaby coming in October, so that's something else to look forward to.

And as far as what is so special about BOG, I think it's a combination of wanting to be among the first to experience it, the expectation of how beautiful it will be and the real need for another TS dining choice in MK. I can't wait!

Good Morning Everyone! I have been trying to read through this thread. I gave up and jumped to the end. Lol

I am hoping to take a trip to WDW late Nov to early December. I am hoping that my sister will take the plunge and go with me. I am dying to see the parks and resorts with holiday decorations and do CP, etc. I know she will love being there at that time as well as she goes all out decorating for most all holidays. This will be in honor of her 50th bday. She has two boys ages 15 and 12 and a type A DH all of whom do not care to spend time looking at holiday decorations and shopping Disney stores. They always want to go snow or water skiing, hiking, fishing, etc. So I thought the two of us should try to take a few days to do something for ourselves for a change. She is waffling about it. We are supposed to talk more seriously today after her house guests leave.

She wants to stay at Boardwalk Inn and I want to stay at a Moderate like Port Orleans. Hoping to time arrival Nov 27-29 to see if we can get free dining. Do you know if it is still available?

I am so excited about going for the holidays!

Yes, free dining is still available depending on the resort you pick. You need to get something booked very soon though. The WL is beautiful at Christmas. And I know that it still has FD availability.
