NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Thread~ Everybody is Welcome~Part 3 already!

I thought I would share this with my Disney loving friends on here. Only ya'll would understand. I was talking about Disney and my DH says "kids go get Mama some tylenol, I think she has Disney fever" Then my DD says " Mama are you going to plan out what we say to each other at Disney too?" So far my DD has been the only person who I thought was listening to me. I guess I even burnt her out on it. They are excited about the trip but could care less about all my planning.

I'm in the same boat. When we had to cancel/postpone our June trip...I was the only one truely upset. I've learned that while DH & DD7 love going to Disney, it's just not that big of a deal to them. So now I do my planning in private (and here) and just give them the main points. I've also gotten to the point that I only ask my DD questions that I need an answer from her on...otherwise, I make all the choices.

Hi everyone. I just found this thread and would love to join. Our family consists of me my husband, daughter and son. We will be at POFQ Saturday Nov. 24-30. I can't wait. I was actually waiting for free dining and want the kids to see WDW decorated for the holidays. I booked all our ADR before we even booked the trip and added the confirmation numbers to the vacation package.

Here is our agenda

Nov 24 - Saturday Arrive around 10 am, take ME to POFQ and go to EPCOT. ADR - Garden Grille at 6:30 pm.

Nov 25 - Sunday Magic Kingdom at rope drop. ADR - 1900 Park Fare at 6:10 pm.

Nov 26 - Monday Hollywood Studios. ADR - Fantasmic! package at H&V 3:35 pm.

Nov 27 - Tuesday Animal Kingdom. ADR - Tusker House at 11:15 am. Maybe DTD in the evening.

Nov 28 - Wednesday - Magic Kingdom. ADR - Chrystal Palace, this is for me because I LOVE Pooh at 6:10 pm.

Nov 29 - Thursday - Haven't decided what park. Any ideas? I am thinking HS again. ADR - Captains Grille 5:25 pm

Nov 30 - Friday - Eat a late breakfast either in DTD or POR. Go home.

Do you know what time it starts to get dark in November? I am from Buffalo and it's usually 4:30 pm but we have a lot of cloud cover.

Too Funny I took the crowd level suggestions off of easywdw.com. I have the unofficial guide to wdw being transfered from another library. Can you believe out of the 12 in our county 9 are out on loan?

Has anyone been to the Yaht Club? Is is within walking distance to the Board Walk and Fantasia Mini Golf? Or, should we take a bus to the other one (the name escapes me)?

I don't care what time it is or what the weather is AK is always so hot. Not sure why but it is.

I agree 100% with you and it always seems more crowded. These are the two reasons we only ever spend a half day at AK. We skipped it completely in March but I am going to try
for a full day this trip of course that is subject to change depending on the weather we may skip breakfast at RFC and head there later.

You know sometimes our thinking is so close it scares me. I'm the one saying I don't know when we will be going back. There is just so many things in our near future. But I'm already thinking that if there is a good bounce back offer......I'm booking it.

I told my DH we are booking a bounce back offer and he thinks I'm CRAZY! This is our very first trip. And I'm ready to start planning the next one and the first one is still 4complete months away.

we have a cruise planned for January 2014 and I really want to go to Disney sometime between 2013 and 2015 sith a cruise in the middle. I think it depends on how well we are able to pay the cruise off. Right now Disney is paid and spending money will be done AUg 1st

I think it is wonderful that ya'll are matching shirts. I still want to get DH and I in some.

Now don't forget that Saturday in the MK is the parade taping.

Its still a beautiful park. We are gonna go for it and spend 2 days there. That evens our park days out better.

When are you scheduled? I think saturday morning will be bad down Main Street and into the Hub. Beyond that you should be good to go at least until the taping is done.

I've been in AK when it was freezing.

Me too!! There was ice in "Africa" on the safari ride - the operator made sure to point it out to everyone! (December 2010) I get what you mean about the crowding too! All the trees looming over you, I'm not sure if it is an effect or that the paths really are smaller... I'm probably used to it since I grew up in Disneyland where the route through Adventureland is nicked "The Gauntlet"! Soooo tight in places but it feels like home to me!

I also have MK planned for the Friday with CRT ADR for 4:30, so I really don't want to change it. But kinda worried about the crowd level for this day. Anyone been there the Friday before taping?

its... not magical for sure! I remember lots of steel poles, some CMs watching us, green tarps, and FAST moving tourists glad to be able to walk...!
