I love Goofy! He's been my favorite since I was a tiny kid :goodvibes How's your trip planning going?

Hey story of my life! I'm glad you're doing well though!

Thank you :goodvibes

My family will be arriving.....November 22 and leaving the 27th we will be at CBR...cant wait to spend the Holiday in Disney!

Welcome!! :goodvibes You are gonna have an awesome time!! :yay:

We are looking to go November 16th through the 25th...we haven't been in a couple years, so I'm very excited!!!!

Welcome to you as well!! :yay: Happy trip planning!!

I think this trip we are doing character breakfasts.... Im starting to plan our next trip and I want to do EMH as a focus. Esp at night. so we can sleep in a little and even hop!

You know sometimes our thinking is so close it scares me. :rotfl2: I'm the one saying I don't know when we will be going back. There is just so many things in our near future. But I'm already thinking that if there is a good bounce back offer......I'm booking it. :rotfl:

good morning all

we are almost to the 100 mark!!! 109 days to go!!!! So excited

Plans are pritty much set, adr's look good, most of the $ is saved, New car is bought, just waiting on bog, buying our photo pass and paying off the rest of the trip.

That was what we were going to do this trip, but I don't think there are enough late hours for our tastes. Maybe I'm wrong? I'd just be worried about running into crowds.

Kerplp- my planning is coming alon but Im starting to think too much of this trip si food related! We may make next trip not so food related :rotfl:
LOL I know ours is too! It's all based around ADRs, but since last time we only had QSDP I think we're allowed one food-centric trip!

Thanks!! We just decided yesterday, do I have nothing done yet, which is already driving me nuts! Lol. Time to look at TP and figure out where we'll be each day and get some ADRs!!!! :)

BTW- what is the candlelight processional????
The CP is a dramatic retelling of the Christmas story (aka baby Jesus/Mary/Joseph/etc.) with celebrity narrators. There's a choir and everything and supposedly it's quite beautiful.

Check out EasyWDW as well. Its a free site full of info with a great crowd calendar. At this point I'm starting to think their crowd calendar is the one to go to. The CLP is a telling of the Christmas story with a full Choir. This will be our first time doing it but we are really looking forward to it. Supposed to be really beautiful. :goodvibes

It all sounds great!! The 100 day mark almost scares me. :upsidedow I think once we hit that time is really going to fly. I'll even have my Christmas tree up before we go. And most shopping done.

Good Morning everyone!! :goodvibes

I have a question....we are planning a day at Blizzard Beach, but if the weather is too cold or bad that day do you think it would be wise to do something else, just relax or spend an extra day at one of the parks. And if so I should make some more ADR's right??

Also we are going to use Disney's magical express when we arrive but not when we depart as we will be at Universal then. How does it work. Do they pick you up at airport and how does the luggage thing work?? Thanks everyone

Finally nailed down my plan of which park when. :woohoo: It was hard because of the MVMCP and trying to schedule Wishes. We only have 2 days that do not have parties and of course one of the those days we got an ADR for Le Cellier. We decided not to get hoppers since we are staying at AOA LM and did not qualify for Free Dining. We are going to eat off property a couple of times and I used my swagbucks for some of the giftcards so in my mind I consider that our Free Dining. :lmao:

Hope everyone is having a great day, and welcome to all the newbies. You are going to love it here.

It has been our past experience that the later it gets the more the crowds thin out. There have been a few times when DH and I have felt like the last ones leaving. :thumbsup2

Thats what I keep saying about this trip as well. I feel a little like it has been taken over by ADRs.

BB... we are planning friday day to be there with DHS at night... if its too cold-and my kids would do it being cold, we will do DTD and then DHS... I mad a RFC DTD ressie though:lmao:

ME- you have to walk from your terminal to the tram to get to the other side(MCO IS HUGE) and then go all the way down past rental car desks...then the CM will tell you where to go... there are lines for each resort and u line up there til your bus starts filling. they take care of ur luggage if it has the yellow ME tags on it(they arrive in the mail) and they bring you luggage to your room up to 3 hours later so if anything you might need put it in your carryon!

I would have a plan B for the water park day. Booking extra ADRs would probably be a good idea. But make sure they are ones that are not backed by a credit card. That way you won't be penilized for a last minute cancellation.
I have no advice for Universal and getting back to the airport. Maybe you should ask that question in the Universal thread. :goodvibes

Having your park days down is a major step. :thumbsup2

Do I need to go get our luggage from baggage claim to get put on the bus??

Also, since my DD is driving to meet us at Disney, she will have a car so I am not concerned about a ride back to airport.

Do I need to go get our luggage from baggage claim to get put on the bus??

you can... if you choose not too get your own luggage and use ME luggage services- put the yellow tags on ALL your luggage, they will handle it...no need to even go to baggage claim

if you choose to get your own luggage and use ME to get to your resort -get your bags and head to the bus...do NOT put the yellow tags on it(at home)

We always use ME and LOVE IT! OUr luggage is always waiting in the room for us in the evening when we return!:goodvibes

ok since i am afirst timer i have some questions

how does photo pass work?
and what is the transportation system like. i am a little hazy on it. is there a bus that takes you everywhere or do you have to say take a bus to some place then a monorail or boat to another?

basically what are my chances of getting lost and missing an adr? :surfweb:

well thats what someone gave me as a time...thats just ALOT of ppl!:headache:

Let me reassure you that it won't take anywhere near 45 minutes to leave the amphitheater. Also, there are no bad seats, so if you want to sit toward the rear of the theater, you'll still get the benefit of the wonderful sound as well as see everything. I think if someone experienced that kind of time leaving, it must have been other factors involved such as closer to Christmas and much heavier crowds in general, making it more difficult to get out. Rather like traffic at rush hour. ;)

Just in case ya'll haven't seem this......

I think it is very touching that this is being done. :littleangel:

Could you tell me what is being done? For some reason I'm not allowed to access that thread.:confused3 Don't know what that is about. If it's too long to explain, don't worry about it, though.:goodvibes

So Im bummed now :sad2: I went to see the September dates for the dessert party and it isnt being offered on the MNSSHP nights which means no Christmas party either!!! So no DP for me *cry*

The dessert party would seem to be unnecessary during the MVMCP since there are additional shows and entertainment and other things not offered at any other time. Maybe Disney feels people would not sign up for the DP when paying so much for the Christmas party too?:confused3

Hello All~
We are planning our 3rd trip to Disney and sticking with what we know by doing it in November! We have had great luck with weather, crowds and the AWESOME Christmas Decorations that we figure why mess with success! We will be going from November 9-18 with MVMCP on the 15th!
Can't wait!

Photopass- you get a card(do not use the one that arrives in your packet of mail IE Mickey mail-i dont know why, i just heard dont LOL) you can go up to any photographer wearing tan and white clothing and get your picture taken. If you dont have a cardd they will give you one. If you have one give it to them. If you split up, or leave your card in the room, you can get another card. At the end of your trip, you log onto the photpass site and put all the cards on there...here is more info
http://stitchkingdom.com/disneysphotopass/

here is something that will help tell you the best way to get from one place to another
http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/aspx/twiz.aspx

The Disney transportation system is tricky but gets you where you wanna go! I love it. you just have to make sure you are in the right spot. For instance, if you are in a park, there are numbers and then a list of which number is what resort...line up there and then the bus picks u up. The buses always tell you where they are going with the light up sign on the windshield. in the morning, there will be lots of buses to various parks. There are NO buses to DTD from parks, you have to go either from your resort or if u are lets say at MK, ride the monorail or walk to contemporary and catch the bus from there.... use the transportation wizard I posted to help you :)

its a little thing that says a mod passed away and they are shutting DIS down for an hour from 11-12 during her funeral :littleangel:

Ok well everyone had me scared so I changed our dinner to 8 just in case

The Dis will be going down from 11:00am to 12:00 noon in respect to a Dis Moderator that has died. This is the time of her funeral. Her Dis name was Macky Mouse. She was well loved and respected here. I think it is a wonderfully loving thing for the Dis community to do.
