If your DD has a gluten allergy, I would schedule a meal at 1900 Park Faire and hope that Chef TJ is working. He's kind of got a cult following from those in the food allergy and vegetarian worlds. He will make your DD's meal OUT OF THIS WORLD. It's always a roll of the dice as to whether he's working or not the paraticular day you visit. We missed him during our last visit, but our first visit, he was working at 'Ohana and he made DS this dessert:

Both were gluten, egg and nut free :goodvibes. Chef TJ is my hero:lovestruc.
As you can imagine, I was in tears by the time the dessert came out. My little boy who always has to bring his own cupcakes to birthday parties was getting the best dessert in the entire restaurant :goodvibes:goodvibes. Anyhow, since 1900 Park Faire is a fun place to eat anyway, I would give it a try. You never know if chef TJ will be working!! --Katie

Seriously, that dessert is AMAZING!!

Oh my..that sure is a detailed explanation! Thanks so very much. I totally understand now. This is rather helpful in planning just hope we have good luck with us the time we are away. :)

I found easywdw was pretty accurate, but it will be more updated as time goes by. I remember last year in I think early November they have a big/final update to times and shows, etc and Josh edits as needed. I don't remember having to change any parks, to be honest.

Also in other news we bought our plane tickets! It feels like the trip is real now.

Finally, I know we are coming for sure! We are arriving on November 24th and leave Dec. 1st and staying at the Pop. I have been reading this thread and love this group, but I didn't want to post anything until I knew we were coming for sure. I am so glad to finally be official :cool1:

Sounds like a great time to me! :welcome:

Hi everyone I have a question! I am going solo and have everything booked including free dining :thumbsup2. Now a friend of mine wants to join me but wouldn't stay as long as I will. She'd stay in my room and would need tickets but how would that work? Could she say, stay 3 nights with dining or have I read somewhere that she would have to stay the same length of my package. That can't be right?

Sorry I'm all confused ::yes::!

Everyone has to have the same package, but I think it's still doable. You would just have to change your ticket days to the same amount of ticket days as your friend and then add days to your ticket when you get there. There is no added fee for a second person. She would have free dining also.

:welcome: Glad you are going! Have fun planning along with us!:flower3:

I find it interesting that most of the parks recommended to avoid are EMH that day. I have found that the morning EMH's are the absolute best time to hit the park. :thumbsup2

I quite agree! We hit the AM EMH and enjoy every minute of it. That's why we get park hoppers every trip. We like to be able to "hop" from a park if it gets too crowded. The crowd levels and recommendations are just guidelines as someone else mentioned. (cue Pirate music:rotfl:) The evening EMH can go either way, but if you stay long enough, the crowds always thin out after an hour or two.::yes::

From what I've read the thinking behind it is that most people do not wake up early enough to enjoy EMH but because they plan to tour the park that day because of it the park is extra crowded. I think on touring plans they say that if you know you will be there at RD then it is worth it for you to go to that park then.

We had this happen last year when my MIL ended up joining us last minute. The ADRs I couldn't change we just showed up with 5 people instead of 4 and it was no problem (I think we only did it twice and I can't remember where). Can't promise it will be the same case for you, but it worked for us.
It's good to hear other people's experiences. Thanks!

We are in the opposite boat - may be going from 5 people to 4, but we're probably just going to leave the ADRs alone for now.

The one place I can think of where going from 4 to 5 can be a problem is Le Cellier which apparently doesn't have a lot of options for larger parties. A couple of years ago (traveling with 5) we asked for a print-out of our ADRs @ check-in. Interestingly they all had 5 guests listed with the exception of our LeCellier one. The agent on the phone must have made an error as this ADR only had 4 guests listed?! I asked the CM at the resort if he thought it was going to be a problem and he said "yup"! He called LeCellier directly and they stated there was no way to get 5 of us in that night?!? Long story short - several calls to managers finally led to them accommodating us (although the table was a tad tight for 5!!!).
I was able to secure an ADR for 5 at LC on a different day than our original plan just in case b/c I saw that was one of the difficult ones. I will cancel once I know for sure. But I would hate to miss out on it as I'm really looking forward to try it.
Right now, my hardest one is CRT. I will keep checking and maybe when BOG ADR's become available, there will be cancellations for CRT.

Ok so I need your help on this... everybody made the descision to keep LTT for lunch and do DTD on our first night.... NOW we are toying with the 550 dinner reservation at 1900PF on our MVMCP night OR 515 at WCC. DH said either......I am not sure at this point!

Are ya'll sure you want to be out of the MK on your MVMCP night for so long? Since you can actually go into the park at 4:00pm?

I think 5:50 is too late for a party night even the 5:15 at WCC is going to get you just at 7 pm if your lucky taking in transportation time. I have read lines for popular character like 7 Drawfs you need to be in by 6:30pm. Any chance of eating a bit earlier in MK?

Has anyone had freezing cold temps the week after Thanksgiving (at WDW)? I need to decide if I should make a sweat shirt for this trip.
